Kid's Yoga
Please note that our Kid's Yoga class will be canceled on the following Saturdays due to our teacher training program: Saturdays, 3/24, 4/14, 6/9, 8/4, 9/8, 10/6, 11/3, and 12/8.In a non-competitive environment kids learn techniques to develop focus, confidence, strength, and flexibility while having fun.Kids will learn traditional yoga poses such as tree, frog, downward dog, and lion through movement, stories, games, laughter and silence. Using interactive games and animated postures, kids will learn about animals, nature and basic anatomy through yoga. The practice of yoga helps improve concentration and body awareness, physical and emotional balance, coordination, flexibility, strength and overall health. Yoga also helps to improve confidence and self-esteem, relieve stress and encourage cooperation in children. |

Mixed Level Flow
This class blends the alignment principles from Yoga Basics with the flowing aspects of a vinyasa class, building strength as well as a sense of well-being and inner stillness. Deep Stretch
A series of stretches held for several minutes each to encourage flexibility through the progressive release of connective tissue (fascia). Stress and injury restrict blood flow causing both physical and emotional stiffness and pain. This class will focus on the large muscle groups that commonly hold stress such as the hips, lower back and shoulders. This is a great class for both beginners and advanced yogis and is a recommended compliment to an active practice. |

Mommy and Baby
No previous yoga experience is required. Suitable for newborns to crawlers, ages 0-9 months.This class provides an opportunity for you to regain strength and flexibility, to bond with your baby, and connect with other moms. Postures will pay special attention on strengthening the back, abdomen and pelvic floor, as well as relieving tension in areas such as neck, shoulders, and back.This class will help you understand your baby's physical development, needs and abilities through yoga. Babies enjoy this one-on-one interaction with their mom's and other babies. Traditional Yoga
Today the breadth of techniques taught in the ancient scriptures are not found in any single school of contemporary yoga. The traditional schools, in which these techniques are preserved, are unfamiliar to many modern and western yoga practitioners. Today’s hatha yoga generally consist of practices originating from traditions less than a hundred years old. Traditional methodologies are often changed and adapted, slowing progress.The aim of Traditional Yoga is to restore an understanding of the relationship of the different limbs of yoga and to present this knowledge in its original, whole and undiluted practical form for the benefit of all practitioners and teachers. Both hatha yoga (the science of body) as given by the Nath gurus and raja yoga ( the science of mind) as given by Patanjali. Time permitting, each session will end with a seated meditation.
