As demand for destination weddings in Bali increases, AYANA Resort and Spa has launched new wedding spa packages for both before and after the big day, to ensure couples look their best when they walk down the aisle, and recover from their celebration in style.

"A wedding day is a very special occasion and couples want to make sure they look and feel their best," said AYANA’s Spa Director, Michi Sonoda. "Couples often undergo intensive fitness and beauty regimes in the period leading up to their wedding, and these new packages put the finishing touches on their preparations to ensure they radiate with the beauty and joy of this day."

The new packages target the areas of most concern to brides and grooms:

Bride-to-Be – The perfect pre-wedding beauty 'insurance', this package starts with a Décolleté Treatment to smooth and firm the skin around the neckline, chest and shoulders before a Back Treatment and Flat Tummy Treatment consisting of body scrub, wrap and massage to reduce any bloating and result in an overall slimmer and smoother appearance. 1 hour 40 minutes; Rp1,800,000++.

Bride-to-Be Deluxe – The ultimate pre-wedding beauty regime, this package starts with the Bride-to-Be treatments and finishes with a Collagen Facial using marine collagen with protective anti-pollutant properties to regenerate, moisturize and restore skin elasticity, leaving it soft and radiant. 2 hours 10 minutes; Rp2,450,000++.

Grooming Time – Starting with a Back Treatment to smooth and firm skin, this package continues with a Flat Tummy Treatment and finishes with a Men's Facial created specifically for men's skin, using exclusive products. 2 hours 10 minutes; Rp2,450,000++.

Recovery Spa-rty – The wedding day celebrations are over and it's now time to completely relax and enjoy the beginning of your new life together. This couple's package starts with flower petal footwash and a choice of either a body scrub or mask. Enjoy a herbal flower bath together before a deep tissue Balinese massage using age-old techniques to relieve even the most stubborn knots in your body. Finally, your therapist will administer a nourishing cream bath with a sublime scalp massage using a deep conditioning treatment to restore shine and vibrancy to your hair. 2 hours 20 minutes; Rp4,000,000++/couple.

AYANA seamlessly captures the tranquility essential for relaxation enthusiasts and the sense of adventure appealing to thrill seekers, all amidst an idyllic oceanfront setting. A saltwater pool sits at the foot of the resort’s cliff, while four freshwater pools, including an infinity-edge pool and children’s pool with waterslides, reside cliff top; guests can also sunbathe on the powdery white sands of Kubu Beach or unwind under the protective shade of one of the bamboo cabanas dotting this private stretch of shore.

An 18-hole putting course, two floodlit tennis courts and a fitness center equipped with personal trainers await exercise devotees, and yoga classes are also held thrice weekly. Snorkeling and scuba diving excursions can be arranged with the resort’s guest services team.

Evening entertainment includes traditional dance and song performances at the on-site Langit Theater, or guests can enjoy cocktails and live music on Damar’s open-air terrace.

The sumptuously designed guest rooms and suites are adorned in Indonesian carvings, sculptures, paintings and artifacts. Each room features a private balcony, marble bathroom and modern fixtures like 42-inch flat-screen TVs. In addition, 78 Balinese-style villas reside cliffside, surrounded by tropical gardens and lovely ocean vistas. Villa guests can splash in private infinity-edge plunge pools or lounge on sun beds in the relaxation gazebo. Bathrooms include sculptured soaking tubs, double vanities and rain showers; additional showers can be found outdoors.

The 12 restaurants and lounges, each distinct in its own exquisite, artfully crafted ambience, provide guests with a wide selection of cuisines. The lotus-shaped Dava, with its floating garden, serves a degustation menu for dinner, while Padi, housed in four open-air thatch-roofed pavilions, offers an international breakfast buffet by morning and pan-Asian cuisine by night. The dramatic aesthetic also includes an open Asian-heritage-style kitchen. The Italian trattoria-style Sami sits dramatically perched on a bluff, overlooking the Indian Ocean. Portion-controlled dishes like rice paper rolls, poached barracuda mille-feuille and flowerless chocolate cake are listed on the menu at the Spa Café.
