This class is ideal for students with no dance or limited dance background. It is truly an introduction to classical ballet. This class teaches the basics of alignment of the body, basic exercises of the barre and center. The students can expect to learn all the fundamentals that will form a basis for all dance forms. Students develop a technique which provides structure to learn patterns, and a program which translates into more safety, self awareness and clean technique. The class will really be about becoming comfortable in your body and using ballet to help make you stronger and stand up a little straighter.
