Chopra Center & Spa at Dream New York is situated in the heart of Manhattan, between Central Park and world-famous Times Square. The spa is an East Coast version of the highly successful Chopra Center at La Costa Resort and Spa in California. Based on the teachings of Drs. Deepak Chopra and David Simon, the Center offers services, programs, and educational seminars rooted in Ayurvedic (traditional Indian healing) principles.
The property offers several ways for guests to improve their health and well-being during their visit. Yoga classes inspired by Dr. Chopra's Seven Spiritual Laws of Success are held daily (twice a day Monday-Friday). The spa's complimentary guided meditation classes (also offered daily) provide an ideal supplement to yoga instruction. The Center's Ayurvedic specialist, available for consultations with guests, was trained in India and underwent further training to obtain Chopra Center certification.
Spa-goers can enter through the retail boutique located at 1710 Broadway or the glass elevator from the lobby of Dream Hotel at 210 West 55th Street. From street level, guests descend to the 8,000-square-foot (743 square meters) spa, yoga, and meditation facility.
