I have visited the Sunflower Spa twice. My first visit was magical and I have been dreaming about returning ever since. However, I recently visited the spa and had the worst massage of my life. I believe this is not the fault of the Sunflower Spa, but poor service delivered by the massage therapist. My massage therapist was incredibly rude to me when I first met her and questioned why I was getting this particular service in a very rude and uncomfortable manner. Then, throughout the massage, she hit me in the head at least 10 times with her leg as she was passing. Each time it jerked me and I could not relax at all. I was fuming during the whole massage and wanted to just get up and leave. Overall, the massage was a disaster. It was a hot stone massage and I felt like there was no technique. It was just someone rubbing stones randomly everywhere. I was really disappointed. This was a gift to me from my parents and they let me choose the spa. I love the Sunflower Spa, but I really did not like the massage therapist. It was a miserable and expensive hour of my life. However, I do recommend the Sunflower Spa. My first visit was amazing. I just believe this was a fluke and that they have many other staff members who are amazing.

I am not one to typically write a review. I felt my experience was worth sharing. I received a gift certificate for this spa at my baby shower. Once I had given birth I could not wait to put my gift card to use. I scheduled a pedicure. Nothing is better then getting your feet rubbed after 9 months of pregnancy and swelling. I arrived early to do my paperwork. I was immediately guided to go and take a seat. While she was getting started with my pedicure, I was still filling out my paperwork. You sit on a bench next to others. I personally like those massage chairs. She put those toe things between my toes and then painted my nails. She then handed me my purse and told me I was finished. They sent me home with those things still between my toes with damp polish. I walked out to my car barefoot in December and holding my shoes!! I am more pampered at the less expensive nail spas.

Recently gave myself a relaxing day of pampering after receiving a spa finder gift card. Loved, loved, loved my time here. The spa is warm, inviting, and very relaxing. The locker room is amazing and has everything you need to feel comfortable. The deep tissue massage was perfect, the facial was wonderful, and the pedicure - well, my feet have never looked so good. Everyone here was so friendly and made me feel like a million bucks :) Only issue I'd have is the slippers aren't that comfy, but that was the only thing. I was quite impressed overall and would love to comeback.

Spa Visit for Girlfriend and Her CousinBy KeithG | May 6, 2010
I did not attend the spa myself, but scheduled a spa visit as a surprise for my girlfriend and her cousin. Both of them had the Blossom Package and, after picking them up once they got finished, they were both very pleased with the service. They really enjoyed the people there, the atmosphere was very comfortable, and it made both of them happy, which was of primary importance to me. They talked about visiting again and bringing others, so to me, that's a fantastic indicator of how good of an experience they had.
From the scheduling side, I must say that they certainly supported me in my naivete in choosing the appropriate package for this surprise, and it is this courteousness and helpfulness that will make me use this spa again, whether it is for myself or for others.
