About Shizen Spa at Cosmopolitan Hotel Toronto
Situated close to the hectic heart of downtown Toronto’s financial district, Cosmopolitan Hotel Toronto offers an enticing blend of intimate, urban luxury and Zen-like tranquility. Inside this 25-story sanctuary, the bustle and anonymity of a major metropolis is replaced by an East-meets-West atmosphere with a holistic slant. Interiors are designed in accordance with feng shui principles, and the sleek Shizen Spa’s architectural centerpiece is a glass-enclosed solarium where spa-goers can relax before or after treatments. With just five guest rooms on each floor, the hotel cultivates a serene, private ambience, and a team of lifestyle specialists are available to help visitors plan every detail of their stay.

Shizen, stemming from the Japanese word for nature, mesmerizes guests with an elegant design palette that includes Brazilian walnut flooring, teak and bamboo accents, scarlet hues and a solarium featuring floor-to-ceiling Japanese Shoji windows and a 12-person whirlpool. Treatments, utilizing Comfort Zone, Guinot, Intraceuticals and OPI product lines, promote a distinctive fusion of Eastern and Western healing philosophies and are performed in five private spa suites. Indulgent staples include the Signature Shizen Massage, a restorative ritual that blends hot stones, tension-releasing techniques and raindrop therapy.
Wellness also ensues at the Cosmopolitan Hotel: Exercise enthusiasts will want to head to the third floor to work out in the fitness center.
Guests ages 16 years and older can indulge in spa services.
