I took my sister to get the Warm Japanese Mint Aroma Wrap & De-stress Facial for her birthday. The salon was really nice and had the appropriate ambiance. We had Michele and Gary and they were very professional and did a great job! It was very relaxing and hydrating and felt really good. My sister and I loved it! I would go again. They have a great variety of services and specials there, too.

Serendipity Province is the place I go for rejuvenation, relaxation and renewal. The mood is relaxing, the music soothing and the therapists magical in their ability to remove stress and eliminate or greatly minimize those nasty muscle aches and tension knots that I am so capable of creating in my body. I could go daily, but my schedule prevents that frequency, unfortunately! I have been to several spas or massage therapists around the country and this is by far my favorite.

The body service was relaxing and overall great. However, I don't think I was given the correct one I scheduled for. They never confirmed which type I was getting. She never introduced herself. The room was ok. The music was annoying, a little to upbeat for a relaxing time. They need music like birds chirping,water running. Not instrumental covers of pop music. There were no soothing smell of aroma. besides all this, the massage was great. The price was fair.

My husband & I enjoyed the couple's romance pkg. The hydrotherapy session was wonderful! We enjoyed our mimosas and chocolate covered strawberries in the most tranquil setting. Following this session we had our couple's message which by far was the best one we have had! Colleen & Mary were great! Colleen was very sensitive to my needs and I appreciate that! The foot treatment was an added bonus! We definitely recommend this spa!

My husband and I recently received massages from Serendipity Province and were both very satisfied. Colleen and Mary were both professional and gave great service. The prices were reasonable. Our only critique was that the walls were a bit thin and it was very easy to hear conversations outside. Overall a very good experience.

I visited the spa recently and left very relaxed and ready to book my next appointment. Crystal was very pleasant and professional. It had been awhile since I had a massage and I forgot what I was missing. Wonderful, soothing atmosphere and very clean rooms. I would recommend this spa to anyone!

I made the drive to this spa and it was well worth it. It was my birthday and I could not have found a better place to spend it. The staff was wonderful.
A friend and I both had a Swedish massage and the ECO-Fin foot treatment...they were both wonderful. We left feeling so relaxed and stress free. Prices were very reasonable...will definitely making the trip back.

Had a bit of trouble finding this one, it's tucked away between farms in rural Valpo. I used to live in the NW Indiana area and came back for a visit with my daughter recently. Thought a "girls' day out" would be fun for us, since she's never had a massage before (she's in college). We thoroughly enjoyed our hot stone massages ! The therapists do not rush you through at all, subdued lighting, aromatherapy, private rooms. Our massages even included hand & foot massages. Very relaxing ! We also indulged in facials, which not only improved our skin but eased tensions with their wonderful scents. Wide variety of services here, call 1st for appt. They offer monthly specials as well. We will definitely go again when I am in the area. (IWould rate the pricing scale as 2 stars here, however.)

This spa is tucked away in the middle of nowhere and it was a great find. I went there a week before my wedding. The spa owner was very welcoming. My therapist was fabulous. And it was a great deal!!!! Very reasonable prices for a wonderfully relaxing experience.

For all you out there that are shopping for a get-a-way massage spa, this is the place. I've been to a handful in the area and this business by far takes the cake. The staff is courteous and professional. Since I suffer from a lot of tension, Laura always helps me and relieves all my aching. I now go at least 3-4 times a month. The therapy sessions are also very private and the place is always well kept. There are a lot of services available here and recommend this place to anyone that wants a relaxing positive memorable experience!

First off, I have to say, I've been to a few spas in the surrounding areas and this one if by far the best. Laura and her staff are very friendly and professional and always makes me feel comfortable when I am there.
The therapy itself is amazing and I always feel rejuvenated after every session with Laura. Each session is a memorable experience and she always delivers the promised result.
Overall, I recommend anyone that wants an awesome massage therapy experience to go to Serendipity. I was amazed my first time and so will you!

HORRIBLE- WILL NEVER GO BACKBy SarahT | February 7, 2011
My husband had purchased a spa day gift certificate for me for mother's day. I called on a Sat. scheduled the services the next day on Sunday. When I arrived at the spa I was "greeted" by the owner Laura Ott, and told that I was an hour late (which I wasn't) and she had sent my massage therapist home for the day. She said, very rudely, that I should have received a confirmation email and that would clear up any discrepancies on the time and that there was nothing she could do. I then politely asked for a refund of the gift certificate. She said that was not allowed and if I didn't want to use it I could give it to someone else. When I came home and spoke with my husband he said he thought something was up when he had to make 4 separate trips to the spa to actually obtain the gift certificate. Can't vouch for the services because I didn't make it that far.

I had the 1-hour Swedish massage, given by Laura Ott. Not only had I recently moved, but I was in an accident a few months ago, in which I broke my right ankle and sprained the left ankle.
Laura not only relieved the aches and pains of lifting and hauling, but she managed to relieve the considerable swelling that had settled in my ankles and feet. Her calm confidence and seemingly intuitive abilities also soothed my soul.
This was by far the best massage I have ever had.

I was given a Mother's Day certificate for a facial and decided to visit this spa. From the moment I walked in I felt very comfortable. There wasn't any pressure to buy anything like some other places. The Esthetician was very knowledgeable and explained the treatment every step of the way. My skin has not looked this good in years. My boyfriend and I went this past weekend to Serendipity. He had never had a professional massage and I wanted to treat him to a relaxing day. We did the Couples Package. He loved the chocolate covered strawberries and the mimosas. The Hydrotherapy was unbelievably great and then we got our massages. He said that it was the best thing I could have given him. He thought that Mary was fabulous!! Our drive home was quiet and we both had our mouths open because we were so relaxed. He did mention that we will start having to do this 4 times a year. The entire staff was great and we will definitely be back to Serendipity.

This is the perfect spa, and I mean PERFECT. I travel a lot and don't usually have time to plan out a spa visit or sit on the phone while someone looks through an appointment book... From the time I walked in the door I was treated as the most important customer they have. Everything was about me. Staff went over products, services and procedures to make sure I received the best possible results for my skin needs. I received a facial, and facial sculpting treatment from Laura, and it was delightful! I could not believe the way I felt and looked after my treatment. So relaxed and peaceful. Everytime I passed a mirrow, I had to look. Wonderful service, products and results. I love this spa, and will recommend to friends and family. Any one that needs a little 'me time', or pampering, I would highly recommend you visit this spa.

Even though I screwed up the reservations (lol) the staff accomodated my group with no problems. When I told them instead on 1 person it would be 4 they looked shocked but replied in a soft tone that it would be worked out and not to worry. The place was quiet and the ladies were professional. I visited a Spa for the first time ever Valentine's Day Weekend with my husband. I didn't want to pay the downtown parking fees and I found Serendipity Province right in the state I live in. The people were really nice and gave the two of us as much time as we needed for each therapy session. Not to mention the Mimosa's, and Chocolate Covered Strawberries were outstanding. Without a doubt I will return again to partake in the greatest afternoon escape one could ever imagine.

This was my first visit to Serendipity. I was extremely happy with my vist. From the moment you walk in the door they make you feel at home. I had a Swedish massage and a body wrap. I had never had a body wrap before and I love how they explained everything in detail of what would take place. The atmosphere was wonderful, not to mention the service. The combination of aromatic oils, massage and the after effects that included a great calmness, lack of pain and amazing energy is indescribable! Serendipity Province is an amazing oasis in Northwest Indiana. Owner Laura Ott has dedicated her life to helping others rejuvinate mind, body and spirit. Her extensive background in holistic therapies is an added bonus to this spa. She believes in what she does, and lives its mission. The services offered at Serendipity are as diverse as any could imagine. My favorite is the hot stone massge, but everything is fabulous. Laura even has a room for handicapped clients, and has made her province accessible for all who want to improve their well being. If you want to truly have an amazing spa experience, not one in a salon, etc...this is the place to be.
