My name is Wesley and I'm the owner of Glow Day Spa. I would first like to apologize for your experience and say that I am absolutely horrified by this review. I can honestly say that we have NEVER had a complaint like this before. One of the many things we pride ourselves on at Glow is our attention to detail and obsession with cleanliness. We take great strides to assure every client experiences a luxurious, professional and above all SAFE nail service. We are well aware that there are many business in South Tampa that provide nail services and our superior technique combined with our strict sanitation regimen is one of the many things that we believe sets us above the rest. We start by using sterile 100% copper soaking tubs that are bacteria resistant. We have several different tubs that are switched out and thoroughly sanitized between each client, we use these tubs instead of the tradition "jet tubs" to insure the utmost in sanitation and avoid the bacteria that build up in traditional jet tub piping. We absolutely DO use new files with every client, our implements are sterilized both chemically and by using a hospital grade sterilizer and we also offer personal disposal nail service kits for every client if they wish. I find it puzzling that anyone would continue to receive a pedicure in a bowl they felt was unsanitary and not cleaned between clients furthermore, I am even more confused as to how anyone could come to that conclusion considering that each bowl is removed cleaned and sanitized in a private employees only area between services. I would assume that at some point a client would have brought this most horrifying accusation up to either myself, the spa manager, the receptionist at checkout OR the nail technician herself instead of continuing on with the service, paying and writing a scathing review in the aftermath. In an effort to resolve this matter we contacted every nail client in our system that has visited Glow within the past six months and asked for feedback on their visit. We have recieved nothing but positive remarks and are unable to find anyone with an even remotely disappointing experience. I kindly urge the person behind this review to contact me so that I may give them a full refund on their service. Our goal at Glow is for each client that walks thru our doors to experience the best service of their life. Anything else is unacceptable.
