Palm Beach’s PGA National Resort & Spa is designed to provide guests with a championship experience, boasting five 18-hole golf courses, a spacious conference wing and European-inspired spa. The 40,000-square-foot spa, open to both resort guests and the public, provides visitors with 100-plus body and beauty treatments deeply rooted in global healing practices, along with nail, hair and waxing services at the full-service salon. Light dishes from the spa menu can be enjoyed at the WOW Café, and a visit to the famed “Waters of the World” mineral pools is a must. Tastefully designed in earthy hues, spa interiors fuse Mediterranean sophistication with South Florida style.
Golf is the major recreational activity at this spa resort, which is just a short drive from the American PGA headquarters. Golfers can choose among five 18-hole courses, designed by well-known architects such as Nicklaus, Palmer, the Fazios and Litten, or improve their game on three driving ranges or at the on-site Golf Digest Academy.
But there's plenty for non-golfers as well. The 33,000-square-foot Health & Racquet Club features cardiovascular and weight training rooms; an outdoor lap pool; yoga and spinning studios; and racquetball, handball and 19 HarTru clay tennis courts. The PGA National Croquet Club has four full-size lawns and an instructional area. In addition, younger guests, ages two to nine, will enjoy activities at the kids’ club.
The property is less than a half-hour drive to some of Palm Beach's major attractions, including the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, Norton Museum of Art and Busch Wildlife Sanctuary.
