  Transformative journeys begin in the 4,000-square-meter spa, which adopts a holistic, integrated approach to health, wellbeing and fitness through dedicated VITA HEALTH programs devoted to nutritional, noninvasive and anti-aging medicine. Created by leading integrated medicine physician Dr. Nyjon Eccles, each of the VITA HEALTH programs is individually prescribed to guests’ personal diagnoses and includes exclusive menus created by two-Michelin-Star chef Fulvio Pierangelini and expert nutrition consultant Amelia Freer.

Sun-kissed olive groves and fragrant gardens surround Verdura Spa, housed in pavilions clustered together in an open-air courtyard. The wellness complex offers a wealth of facilities, including 11 single and double treatment rooms, a 24-meter indoor swimming pool, four outdoor thalassotherapy pools (heated 25° - 37° C), saunas,  gym and fitness studio, hammam and salon. Before or after services, guests can lounge in roomy relaxation lounges or out on the spa terrace, sipping vegetable juices and healing teas and snacking on light dishes.

This advanced wellbeing center offers à la carte services like the 50-minute Sicilian Aroma massage, one of the spa’s signature selections, using curative balms and olive oil to stimulate the skin. Guests can also opt for one of the VITA HEALTH programs, a collection of holistic, results-led treatments combining integrative medical techniques and advanced natural therapies, in addition to à la carte services.

This is an adaptable fitness programme aimed at those wishing to improve or enhance their fitness potential, redefine and tone their body shape and learn new skills. This programme provides a personalised training schedule with foods and nutrients specifically aimed at improving stamina, muscle building, fat burning and energy levels. Blood sugar management remains key to sustainable fitness performance, and protein shakes and electrolyte replacement drinks complement the meal plan.

A combination of sculpting and firming  massages combined with a healthy low-calorie diet, cardio exercise and personalised kinesis weight training sessions will reduce body fat and tone muscles enabling a higher degree of ongoing fat-burn and improved flexibility, stability and balance.

Verdura and its picturesque countryside landscape provide boundless opportunities for visitors to do what they love during their stay, whether it is hiking, tennis, horseback riding or fishing. An impressive four championship golf courses are located inside the resort, and visitors can improve their game at one of the courses’ golf clinics. Verdura has 203 modern guest rooms and suites housed in the resort’s courtyard buildings or landscape villas.
