If I could give them "0" star rating I would. Horrible experience!! Would not recommend this under any circumstance.

I have lived in San Juan for almost two years so I know pedicures are expensive here and you get a lot less for your money then in CA. I had a friend coming to stay with me from San Francisco so I wanted a better than average pedicure. I decided to try Zen Spa. Well the spa is very nice. It is what you would expect of a high end spa. The pedicure which was supposed to be a spa pedicure lasted about 35 minutes and basically was cut, file, callous scrub, and polish. And the polish was only one coat and the manicurist got polish in my cuticles. Basically I paid 2 USD a minute for a bad pedicure. I cannot recommend that service. Maybe other services are better but I will never know.

Each time I went to Zen Spa its a moment to relax, to connect with my inher voice and fill my self with good energy. The team are great and the place is very clean.

I went to this spa yesterday and arrived early at 8:15 for my appt at 8:30. I sat out in the sun for an hour waiting for them to unlock the doors. They didn't even open until 9:10 in the morning. They didn't have organization once all the 9:00 people were there too. They gave me men's sandals to wear because they ran out of women's. I was supposed to have a massage, facial, pedicure then manicure. They shifted the schedule to their convenience (pedicure and manicure at the same time) then facial then massage. The manicurist only sat on one side of the pedicure chair so I had to keep reaching my left arm across my body and hold it while she painted my nails (which do not look good). If I could upload a picture, I would. The pedicurist was very good. The massage and facial were ok. I asked for a reduction in price because I had to wait for them to show up for 45 minutes and they expedited my "Afternoon off" to 3 hours instead of the 4 it normally would take." for their convenience. The person checking me out, Zangy, said no because all of the services were performed. $230 later - not relaxed and very disappointed. Customer Service is lacking and they did not make you feel special at all. Would not recommend, save your money, enjoy the beach.

I purchased a massage series from the Zen Spa in Condado. What a mistake. . .I have been back numerous times always to find the mens locker room and showers dirty, the showers with old razors and paper towel on the floor...just gross. The handle to control hot and cold water in the shower is broken too!! I could smell the mildew. The mens steam room has been out of order for over 4 months now..!! They have the men using the women's steam room downstairs now and call it co-ed. This is a first for me, a co-ed steam room??? cheap is cheap....fix the mens steam room already!!. . and have someone check the showers at least several times a day.. no excuses. There are other spas in the area that are less expensive and much cleaner. When my massage series is up I will not be going back to Zen Spa because of the lack of maintenance and cleanliness.

I have visited Zen Spa many times on my different trips to Puerto Rico. The Spa is beautiful and has a very relaxing atmosphere. However, I am disappointed with the Spa's inability to confirm female or male massage therapists. Last summer, I made a reservation for a massage at Zen Spa. I specifically asked for a female massage therapist and they said no problem. The day before the massage they called me to confirm my appointment, but mentioned that the massage would be with a male therapist, since they did not have female therapists available. I was extremely disappointed, since I had made the reservation 1 month in advance. Since I was on a short trip, I wasn't able to re-schedule the massage for another day with a female therapist. So I had to cancel. The same thing happened to me last year (made a reservation at Zen Spa with female therapist, but the day before was told that my therapist was male.) In summary, the Spa is an absolutely great choice if you don't mind having a male or female massage therapist.

Quise experimentar un dia de spa con mi esposo el nunca habia ido, y que mejor regalo que este. Escogi a Zen spa, y escogi la oferta para parejes un almuerzo saludable para dos, fue un super wrap con todo y jugo fresco. Nos dieron batas y sandalias, usamos el steem, y el sauna, un masaje de todo el cuerpo y facial, para mi manicura y pedicura y para mi esposo un masaje de pies con flexologia ya que siempre trabaja de pie. Salimos super relajados 5 horas de pampering. Se los recomiendo....

Unfortunately, my experience did not go well. At all the other spas I have been to there were plenty of other people there but, they made me feel like I was the only one there. I understand that they are in the business to make money so therefore, they must have lots of customers. I went on a Sunday. There were too many people there. I felt more like a number. In the waiting area where we were sitting in our robes there were other guest that were talking nonstop excessively loud. I understand this is not the spa's fault however; several staff members walked by and didn't say anything to them. I finally told them to be quiet which the other guest thanked me for. My services were going fine until the last service. Part of my package included a blow dry and style. They called this a blow away. It literally means a blow away. The person that washed my hair and blow dried it said it doesn't include a style. Now why would somebody want their hair blow dried but not styled? The person that did my hair attempted to style it. It was very obvious that she does not know how to do anything with hair. I have very short hair. She told me that she doesn't understand my hair so she couldn't do anything with it. She attempted 4 times to style my hair. Each time it looked worse then when I wake up in the morning. I finally told her to never mind. She said she would tell the check out person not to charge me for it since I didn't like it. I explained to the check out person what happened. They said they understood. They did not attempt to correct it or offer any compensation. They stated that because I took up the time slot they would have to charge me for it and my service did not include hair styling even though my package clearly stated so on their website. Then they made the remark that the owner does not allow them to do services for free and they were sorry that I didn't like it. That comment made me very mad. I prepaid for my services including a 20% gratuity. All I wanted was what I had already paid for done correctly. I didn't appreciate them insinuating that I was trying to get something for nothing. Other then the very small changing area this spa is very nice and classy inside. The other staff members doing the services were professionally and competent. Unfortunately this incident along with the other guest ruined my experience. Hopefully this incident is not a normal thing for them. I recommend not prepaying for your services and try to figure out when there won't be a lot of people there.

This day spa is conveniently located in the Condado area of San Juan. It is a beautifully designed space that has everything you could ask for including a locker room with glass bowl sinks and rainfall shower heads, a waiting area for spa treatments (while you sit in your robe and slippers and sip a beverage of choice, partake fruit and listen to very soothing music), a steam room and a sauna as well as individual treatment rooms and a boutique to purchase any of the products used during spa services. This contemporary establishment is pristine and well-organized with professional staff that perform excellent work. I received a full body aromatherapy massage, manicure and pedicure for an affordable price. The nail color of the pedicure lasted for almost a month before I had to repolish. The manicure and pedicure were performed simultaneously and the large massage chair and the glass bowl of heated water for the pedicure were extremely relaxing. My feet have never felt so soft and pampered. There is also a drying area where you can sit and place your hands and feet under dryers to ensure that your polish won't smudge prior to exiting. This was one of the best spa experiences that I have had to date and I highly recommend this spa.

I have visited many spas but this one is definitely one of the best. Its environment will take you away to a place of total relaxation. Service and personal attention is A+. I have returned and I will definitely visit again soon.
