Drawing inspiration from Elysian Fields mythology, Elysian Spa and Health Club at The Waldorf Astoria Chicago has created “a place where the Gods go to rest,” with an indulgent yet results-driven treatment menu and dramatic design elements reminiscent of classical Greek and Roman architecture. Soft cream tones dispersed throughout the 14,000-square-foot spa offset glossy charcoal flooring, and cascading water walls and various lighting features add an alluring effect.

Spa treatments include the two-hour Elysian Cleanse, a combination of a body exfoliation, detoxifying marine mud wrap, facial cleanse and healing massage, along with advanced skincare using microcurrent technology, revitalizing massage and soothing hydrotherapy. Guests under the age of 16 can be pampered as well, with in-suite, kid-friendly treatments like the children’s ice cream manicures and pedicures. Beauty services can be taken in the nail suite and full-service salon; gentlemen spa-goers can visit the barber spa for shaves and haircuts.
