About Hastings Yoga
All of our classes take a lighthearted approach to yoga. Hastings Yoga creates a warm, welcoming environment for yogis of all levels of experience. Classes offer a blend of alignment, thoughtful sequencing and encouragement.Hastings Yoga is based on the concept of “contemplative yoga”; we seek to integrate the contemplative awareness, better known as mindfulness meditation, and yoga during practice to support presence. It is our belief that practicing contemplative yoga will lead to a fuller experience of life for our students.Hastings Yoga will support the evolution of your practice with community meditation sessions, “learn to meditate” tutorials and an Occasional Speaker Series, focused on topics of interest to our community.Location

Teen Yoga
Four week, ongoing series. For boys and girls age 13 and above. Yoga helps young people achieve a greater sense of well being, perform better at school and release anxiety. This class provides the fundamentals of ballet while teaching students to "listen to their bodies". This class is a stress free and fun experience for the adult who wants to get in shape, and work on their coordination. Or for the student who has aways wanted to take a ballet class but has been too intimidated to try. No prior experience required. Classes include barre-work, basic vocabulary and positions, and simple combinations of steps in the center. For most beneficial experience, wear ballet slippers. |

Prenatal Yoga
Our prenatal class includes yoga postures, relaxation and breathing techniques, abdominal and pelvic floor toning to prepare the mind, body and spirit for labor and delivery. Additional benefits include deepening the experience and enjoyment during this beautiful time, preventing and relieving the common discomforts of pregnancy, ease fear and anxiety and enhance postnatal recovery.
