Getting it right!
Its so refreshing to see a business owner care so much! I expressed worries/concerns to her and she made it right. If you ever have a complaint with Spa Catalina I highly reccomend you talk with Erica and let her know the situation. She truly cares about her customers and wants them to leave satisfied. They redeemed themselves and my wrap today with Shauvon was great! THANK YOU SPA CATALINA!!!

DO NOT BUY THEIR LASER GROUPON!
DO NOT BUY THEIR GROUPON. They have only one laser tech, their laser is broken often and they keep throwing groupons out there, making it incredibly difficult to get appointments. They cancelled my appointment because the laser was under maintainance & instead of rescheduling me , they said they dont have another appointment available for the next 6 weeks! Moreover over their receptionist says that the laser gets overheated and can not be on for more than 20 mins straight and laser needs to cool down in between sessions on the same person. And whats surprising is they are still throwing out more groupons out there. If they are under staffed and are having difficulty with appointments why throw out groupons so even more people buy and the shortage worsens. Why don't they deal with their current clients first before trying and luring others. I am worried that they will go out of business soon and my all the groupons I have bought will never get fully used and I will lose my money!

Inconsistant Quality, customer service, and knowledge
I have been a customer of Spa Catalina for the past couple years. The owner started out always being there and performing my treatments. Now I rarely see her and every time I go in for a wrap it seems like it's someone new. And the stages they go threw for my treatment always vary. Its pretty sad when you have to tell the tech, "Uh aren't you supposed to do this first, then that". Its too bad because the prices are great and its location is convenient for me. Just wish they were all up to speed on how something is supposed to be done. I will go back but only because of the price.

Doesn't Deliver on Promises
Like many other Groupon users, I purchased a package for laser hair removal. I thought the pricing was too good to be true and they proved to me that it was. After 8 treatments I have no visible hair loss in the treated areas. I commented about this to my technician on each visit and they assured me that it took time and I would start to see it soon. When I finished my treatments and still had no hair loss they told me they can't guarantee that it will work for everyone. I'm considered a perfect candidate with fair skintone and dark hair, so I thought it was unusual to have no results. I have since paid full price for hair removal in the same areas with great results. After my first treatment at another salon I knew Spa Catalina wasn't either using the laser correctly or didn't turn it up high enough. I didn't have any discomfort at Spa Catalina and no results. Definite discomfort at the new salon, but immediate results. I truly believe Spa Catalina is reeling in customers with the Groupon sales and then not delivering on the treatments. They are purposefully defrauding their customers! Stay away from this spa and go with a company that will give you results. The higher price you pay will be worth every penny!!!

Not What I Expected
Bought a "special offer" for 4 sessions of IPL for $135 I've had IPL before, so I knew what to expect. When I got to the spa, I was greeted nicely by the front desk person and asked to have a seat. My wait time was short and the tech/mgr/owner? came to the front and took me back for treatment. She sold me on the microderm pre-treatment for $25. As the session began, I was expecting the standard "rubber band snap" of the IPL machine. I didn't really get that at all. There was a bright flash of light but virtually no snap or sting. I mean, seriously, nada. I thought,"this must be the latest and greatest technology-how nice". She moved the wand over my face and targetted areas. It was quick and my face felt warm afterwards. When done, I was sold on the post treatment repair cream for $25 or $30 dollars (can't remember) and given instructions on post care. Having had IPL before, I expected many of my sun damage spots and melasma to darken and then peel and/or fade intially (yes, I know many won't stay gone forever). None of this happened. Not a single spot darkened or faded. I have called them twice, leaving messages of concern over lack of results. There was no attempt made to return my calls. Very disappointing!

What a great place! The pedicure was the BEST around, and I have had many. Erica did my facial, and I found her to be very professional. I am very pleased with the results. Other reviewer is right, the spa is tiny. But the staff is very friendly and the services are top-notch and affordable. I highly recommend this spa.

I took my daughter with me to Spa Catalina for a girls day and had the best experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I ended up doing more services than I had booked my appointment for and the staff had no problems fitting me in for a longer time. The facility was very clean. I will definitely be returning to this spa. I highly recommend this spa.

Small nice spa
Spa Catalina is small. They however offer numerous services. The prices are very fair. The spray tans always turn off wonderful. I have had numerous servies from Spa Catalina, all of which have been great.
