The birthplace of all contemporary styles of vinyasa and flow yoga, this method is the first known yoga method to sync flowing body movements with breath; legend says the same Ashtanga sequences we practice today originated around 5000 years ago with the enlightened Rishis of India. Practice the fundamentals of the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois of Mysore, India with Sarah Jane. Your body will soon be stronger, more supple and relaxed, and your mind will feel more grounded with a greater sense of awareness and optimism. This practice focuses on lengthening the hamstrings, strengthening the back, shoulders and core and training the mind to be more focused and relaxed.
