I had a great experience at Montecito Body Works. The Swedish massage was one of the best I have ever had. Also, they were able to accomodate me on late notice. I plan to go back soon, on my next visit to Santa Barbara!

What was originally confirmed by Jacque Jackson (owner) as a sensual couples massage to celebrate my 1-year wedding anniversary with my wife, ended in complete DISAPPOINTMENT. Jacque called 4 HOURS before our confirmed appointment to cancel. Her reason for cancelling was due to the fact that her massage therapist injured their hand. What massage establishment only has one therapist? With great DISPLEASURE and DISSATISFACTION from the cancellation, we immediately called Jacque and she did not have the decency to return my phone call or my wife's call. By not returning our two voicemail message, this clearly shows what type of poorly managed and poorly operated business you attempt to run. Offering first-class service is clearly non-existant! The lack of professional, communication skills, and customer service is very evident from Jacque's demeanor. The manner in which Jacque runs her Montecito Body Works business is a complete debacle and catastrophe, and we will NEVER spend a dime there. You can believe that your we will tell our colleagues and friends about your joke of an operation. Going to Montecito Body Works makes the sleeziest Asian-style "happy ending" massage look like the Ritz-Carlton of massage establishments.

Jacque Jackson and Montecito Bodyworks are quite literally the best! And I've had massages all over the world. Jacque has the expertise and takes the time to really understand your body to address your musculoskeletal needs. I have rheumatoid arthritis, 16 joint replacements and travel extensively across the globe, so my body is in dire need to prepare for a long flight and recover when I return. I know Jacque will be there for me and puts me back into shape to feel like a billion-dollar babe again. This was the best deep-tissue massage that I've ever received. Jacque's amazing. She seems very familiar with accupressure points as well as human anatomy. She knows just where to massage. she also massaged nearby muscle groups that could have an effect on the areas where I was having pain. That, along with the nice little details -- the towel wraps of my feet, and the warm wet towel that she rolled up under my neck. I wish I lived closer so I could visit her more often!

This was an amazing experience for me...a very powerful holistic massage that was benefitial to me at several levels - physical, emotional and spiritual. I was given a SpaFinder certificate and selected this spa - and was thrilled with the massage experience. Very professional, very transformative. Alesha is a very gifted massage therapist. She asked me what treatments I would like - and being the typical Libra that I am...I wanted it all! I wanted a hot stone message, chakra balancing, and a relaxing Swedish-style massage. Alesha artfully combined all of these to methods into an amazing, flowing eclectic massage experience for me. This was the second most powerful massage experience in my life....and that's saying a lot considering I've been having massages for the past twenty years. I found Alesha to have a loving, healing presence as well as being a gifted massage therapist. It was an amazing experience that still brings me a sense of serenity as I think about the transformation that took place for me from the time I walked in to the time I walked back out into the world. I suffer from cluster headaches and was feeling a bout coming on. My shoulders and neck were like granite. I called Montecito Body works and needed to arrange a massage ASAP and at the end of a working day. Alicia scheduled me that same day at 7:30 pm. The peaceful setting of the spa immediately helped, the soft music, the sound of cascading water. The massage was amazing and as a former body worker myself I can tell you this is the truth. Two very special aspects were an very powerful deep healing balm. At one point late in the massage I said I wondered how they got that head lamp so close to the table only to learn there was no heat lamp, just the balm. Second was a set of hot towels placed under my head and neck which was a first. I left a new man. Bravo.

I had the pleasure of seeing Jacque for a deep-tissue massage the day after completing the Solvang Century. I typically prefer male masseurs because my experience is that larger and more powerful hands result in a better massage, but I read some of the other reviews raving about Jacque's technique and decided to give her a try (plus my wife wanted a mint wrap that Jacque offers, so I was outvoted 1-0...). Needless to say, the anticipated Monday muscle fatigue from the century never materialized and I give all the credit to Jacque's hands. She provided, without a doubt, one of the most relaxing and powerful deep-tissue massages I have ever had. I am going to do the Century every year just to get a massage!

Jacque immediately puts you at ease, allowing you to fully relax- which is the point of a massage, but doesn't always happen, especially this immediately. She booked and confirmed me exactly at the time I asked for, and when I was a few minutes late did not get an attitude with me like big day spas do. Jacque is strong and actually uses the amount of pressurre I need to break up tight muscles. I would recommend her enthusiastically to my friends who say that therapists never dig deep enough. Jacque carefully delineates and finds the root of each tight muscle, revealing experience and knowledge of the body. Her handling of my neck was expert and brought me instant relief. The hot towel under my neck was unbelievable; I am trying to figure out how to do this at home in bed without ruining my mattress!

Jacque is awesome. She works your body into relaxation, and finds all the tough spots that need work. The small touches, like hot towels on your neck and feet and a lavendar eye pillow, are wonderful. If only I could get a massage every day!

Jacque gave a fantastic deep tissue massage. I didn't want to get up. I would highly recommend her. She has magic hands.
