    Za Zen Spa & Sanctuary's interior features an Asian flair, bathed in sage and gold hues with imported decor from China and Indonesia adding to the ambiance. The extensive spa menu includes facials, waxing, acupuncture, microdermabrasion, and body scrubs and wraps. Massage services include reiki, reflexology, cranial-sacral, deep-tissue, Swedish, and hot stone. The signature Nirvana Facial and the Nirvana Massage incorporate Chakra stones, Tibetan singing bowls, and shiatsu techniques. Pre or post-treatment, guests can unwind in the Sanctuary Room. Za Zen offers clients complimentary skin scanner analysis and 30-minute acupuncture consultation, as well as hosts private spa parties, with each guest receiving two 20-minute mini spa treatments.

What a joke

I went to have some type of 50 minute heat wrap. What a joke and biggest dissappointment. It was 50 minutes of large heat pads. No lotions, misting, no anything. I didn't even break a sweat. I have truly never been so dissappointed in my life.

I apologize for your negative experience. This treatment is to be used with a body contour get that works with the heat to detox the skin. I'm sorry that was not applied on you. Also, due to your feedback we have added a detox foot reflexology massage. We have received great feedback with the addition of this. Again, I'm sorry for your experience and appreciate your feedback.

I booked a spa package. When I was finished I went to use my spa finder gift cards and was told they did not apply to packages. I had to pay cash. I was very irritated. They were not apologetic. I have had better luck at other spas.

I have never heard of an Asian steam before and Za Zen offered this treatment as one of many monthly specials they have, so I was curious as to what it was. The staff was very helpful in explaining the Asian steam and advising me on the benefits as well as what other services could be combined with it. I decided to get the steam and then a massage afterwards and WOW I didn't know I could feel so relaxed. The heat of the steam really helped my muscles relax and get me ready for my massage, it was great. They told me that I could also get a body wrap while I'm steaming, so I will be sure to try that next time. Thank you to the wonderful staff who advised me so well, made me feel comfortable and extremely relaxed, I will be back soon!

My husband got me a spa finder gift certificate in April for my birthday and I never used it since I didn't know where to go around here. I'm normally not a spa person simply because of work and busy life. The spa was a little hard to find since they are still in the process of getting the name of the spa put on a sign so from the outside it just says "Day Spa." I decided to go with a Royal Foot Treatment, an hour long European facial and half an hour Swedish massage. If I was to do it again I probably will not do the foot treatment again since I got them massaged pretty well with the facial and the Swedish massage. Melody was my Foot and Swedish treatment person and Ashley did the facial. Let me start with Melody. Melody is very friendly and has very gentle touch. She does a great job with the foot treatment but boy does she rock when it comes to Swedish massage! I had her work on my neck and shoulders and I feel refreshed after I left the spa. She gave me tips on how to work on my feet when I'm at home between massages since I stand on my feet all day for work. She applies the perfect pressure and if it wasn't deep enough I would ask and she would deliver. She's pretty amazing and I will go back to see her. Moving on to Ashley. Ashley has the softest hands and I think that's very important when you're massaging other people's faces. She is very gently with the facial and the atmosphere is just so relaxing! I was afraid at first using different products on my face but it's been about a week and my face never broke out or anything like that. She did put on an enzyme and it burned a little but she fore-warned me on that. I thought for sure with that burning feeling my face probably will break out but it didn't. If I was to get a facial again I will go see Ashley. Well worth the money! The Za Zen spa also has extremely soft robes and the massage table just felt like that velvety micro-suede material. Once I put my hand on it I was like ahhhh! I didn't want to get up after my massage! Overall if I could've given them a 10 I would. I love this place and even though it's about 30 miles away from me I will definitely visit again!

Pure Skin and Body Day Spa is one of the nicest spas that I have been to in a long time. It is a lovely neighborhood spa with a very friendly environment, which is a nice change from the stereotypical corporate spas. I have had numerous services from this spa including massage, wax, facials, and permanent make-up. I am now a regular customer, because every service I have had has been nothing less than fabulous! The employees there are all very friendly and attentive to your needs as an individual. I felt very welcomed and comfortable. I would highly recommend this spa to anyone and everyone!
