I researched several spas in the Houston area that offered couples massages. I was very impressed with Sanctuary's website and reviews and made an appointment. Upon arriving to my appointment, albeit early, the receptionist says "Are you looking for something" my reply was "Yes, we have an appointment", the receptionist stops eating her nachos looks me and my date up and down and replies "You do?" with obvious disdain. She looks up our names and says "Yes you do, you are early maybe you should come back at your actual appointment time." Needless to say, I logged back on to spafinder and booked an appointment elsewhere.

During the last deal days I called Sanctuary Spa and made an appointment for two spa deals they were offering. The day before my appointment I got a call from an employee telling me they would no longer honor the deal days pricing, but could do the treatment for full price. They told me the appointment was too far past the deal days promotion, but never told me that when I booked.... very poor customer service!

Get Deep Tissue Massage with Richard!

We recently went to Sanctuary Spa for deep tissue massage. Richard was the man! He used different techniques including the cup suction to release stress. If you do not have a high threshold for deep tissue, be sure to ask for less pressure on the cupping. The place is conveniently located in the loop and though the exterior of the business building is a bit old, the interior ambient is soothing and have a great scent to relax you from the get-go. I would highly recommend trying their massage.

I've been to this spa numerous times and they often do a good job job, but not always. And the receptionist is ALWAYS awful. If you go there make sure you get an experienced technician. Last time I went I had someone new, apparently it was the first spa she had ever worked at and they still allowed her to give me a chemical peel. I believe she though she put the peel on after she took it off, no joke. Other technicians, however, have done a much better job. Just request someone experienced. The receptionist is rude, makes you wait forever to pay while she chats on the phone, and is always eating Whataburger when you go in. I will go again, but I will not let them set me up with just anyone.

The Restorative Facial is the best mini-vacation ever! I have never had anything but wonderful experiences at the Sanctuary. All the estheticians and massage therapists are excellent and the products they use are natural and smell divine! It's the best!

I first visited Sanctuary D'Sante to check things out before I made an appointment. I was greeted warmly, given a tour, and all of my questions and concerns were addressed. I was SO impressed that I immediately made an appointment. Our Couple's Massage was an unforgettable experience! I initially had some modesty concerns which our massage therapists quickly eased by showing genuine concern and respect. We felt totally comfortable, relaxed, and serene. The ambiance of the spa is so tranquil and harmonious. We felt at ease and were able to fully enjoy our special day. We've returned several times and have never been disappointed. When we arrive, it feels as if the entire staff if waiting just for us! Sanctuary D'Sante is an overall wonderful spa and you're sure to have a beautiful experience.

I gone to other Spas in town but none compare to the personal attention the staff gives here. Recomended by my facialist Lilly, I had microderm and the mandelac peel 3 weeks prior to my wedding and my skin looked great. I also had The "Brazilian" and was very happy with the results.
