This place was so amazing. I called early in the morning to set an appointment and they were able to get me there by 11 o clock, when I got there the receptionist was friendly and helpful and then I went into for my facial and it was SPECTACULAR. She did a incredible job. We had a nice conversation through out all of it and then she gave me a foot massage and rubbed my neck and shoulders during the facial. I am thinking of naming my first born child after her. That is how amazing it was. I have never felt more relaxed in my life. Then I went on the get my hair cut and I wasn't entirely sure what I wanted but he just took control and did my hair beautiful. He styled it and cut it all so perfectly. He was nice and made me laugh through out the entire hair cut. I left there and have never felt more relaxed or beautiful in my life.

Beautiful salon! With a great positive energy...Had a very nice cut and color here and was very happy, the gals are super friendly...Also discovered their facials are superb(very unexpected for a salon)..The spa side is very peaceful, the doors are sound-proof so you are in a different world once you get in the room...I liked the product they use as well - never heard of it before(its called Danne) but i guess only top spas and salons use it, believe its german..the mask was great - smelled like peanut butter(my favorite:))...nice pressure during massage part...So this was one of the rare experiences of a wonderful facial...

I have very thin hair and it's hard finding someone who knows how to cut and style my hair in a way that doesn't highlight my balding spots. My trust in stylists is not the greatest so you could just imagine how difficult it would be for me to find a stylist in a new city, not knowing a soul. Pure Hair Salon was in my neck of the woods. I drove by it everyday when I went to work. The internet reviews is what drew me in and the sheer talent, professionalism and personalization is what kept me coming back. Tomas is SUPERB. He helped me right away and cut my hair like I had never seen before...I had hair and for the first time in 3 years I felt comfortable not wearing a hat!!! Unfortunately, I moved again and I miss Pure Salon & Spa. This hair salon is one in a million and I recommend her hands down!!!

This place is a hidden gem, I discovered it while (admittedly) I was at the Roberto's Mexico Food next door. I love spontaneous pampering so, I treated myself to a therapeutic massage. The day spa was clean and welcoming. This was heavenly. I left an hour later with my spa face on and loving it. I paid $70 for the hour long massage which included a discount for first timers to the spa.

Positive experience from the very first call I made to this salon to schedule my appointment until the moment I left today. Friendly receptionist asked if I wanted something to drink right away as did the stylist, Rachel, that I had the appt with. She even brought me the magazine I wanted to read. This was my first time here at Pure Salon and Day Spa and I came here to get highlights to brighten up my naturally (getting dark) blonde hair after doing a little research on the web and deciding on this place. Rachel asked me what I wanted and seeing as how I've only gotten highlights two other times before in my life I just said 'something natural that wouldn't look too obvious when it started to grow out and just to make me look good!' She knew exactly what I wanted, a 'sunkissed' look and it turned out AMAZING! She gave me partial highlights and the color is beautiful! It perfectly compliments my fair skin and really brightens my face up. Rachel even fixed the not so great haircut that I wasn't happy with that I had gotten somewhere else just yesterday. I was so happy with my color and cut that I made another appt with her while I was there to come back in 6 weeks. Rachel even gave me a tour of the salon which has recently been completely remodeled. It's a full service salon and I can't wait to get a pedicure, a facial and a massage one of these days when I have time. I felt very relaxed while I was there and the staff were all very knowledgeable! So nice to finally go to a salon where everybody knows what they're doing and so I was not nervous at all! I bought some of their products too. Good product line there for haircare which the stylists and receptionist were very patient and helpful with especially since I asked alot of questions! I've never been to Pure Salon and Spa before but was recommended by a good friend so I decided to call and make an appointment to get a haircut. I called and spoke with the receptionist(she was very polite by the way).She booked my appointment with a girl named Vanessa. I came in and they are actually remodeling the whole place. It looks Beautiful and i'm not one to comment on salons or anything else for that matter.I sat in the stylists chair, she asked me what I was looking to get. I had no idea what I wanted but she guided me through and it was great! I love my cut! I now look very trendy and up to date. I never really go back to the same person but I really loved what I got and I definitely will visit Pure Salon again and get my haircut by Vanessa! So happy I want everyone to know!

My friend and her mother both had b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l precision haircuts done by Enrique Montiel at Pure. I presented him with a real challenge and very little hair to work with. (My previous cutter left me looking like I had three different hairdos on my head that didn’t blend together, cut by three cutters who never met each other.) I didn’t have to tell him what to do. He went to work with precision shears of many different sizes, precision technique and design skill that turned my mess into the most beautiful cut I’ve ever had. And it gets better ever day. He enhanced the features of my face, making me look and feel pretty. I wake up pretty (no kidding!) and I like looking in the mirror now.

When I entered Pure Day Spa I was greeted with a friendly smile by the receptionist and also greeted warmly and on time by Stacy who gave me the facial. She was fabulous. I will go every month for a facial by Stacy. The atmosphere of the room and her pleasant voice was very relaxing as she expertly gave me the most exhilarating facial.

I tell the receptionist its my first time waxing and I'd like back, shoulders, privates. I arrive 10min early and have a cup of tea. I am then led back to what looks like a storage closet crammed with a massage table that is covered by a soft blue blanket that doesn't get changed. Thank goodness for that doctor's office paper she laid down. I should have just walked out but it didn't seem that bad yet. I didn't know your not supposed to double dip the wooden sticks. I have no problem with the pain of a strip of wax pulling out my hair. I do have a problem with repeatedly getting stuck halfway through the pull and then pulling on the strip as if it were a rope in a game of tug-o-war. Hold down the skin next time. I choose to have this done to look good when I go to the beach and when I stand naked in front of my girlfriend and a mirror. When I got home I looked ridiculous. Given, I have hair all over my body. When I left I had uneven arm sleeves lower than a standard t-shirt not an undershirt. A weird patch was hollowed out around my privates. The hair on my abdomen continued down my hips and legs and my behind was uneven, significantly. Here's some wax remover and a dirty cold towel to clean up with. Now you look good! I had to go home and fix it with drugstore wax strips.

I received a few spa finder gift certificates this past Christmas, and was looking for a spa. I wasn't looking for the most beautiful spa's in San Diego. In fact I just wanted a spa that offered a highly experienced and professional place. During the lunch rush hour, I spotted a salon & spa in Hazard Center and decided to stop in the spa. I was greeted immediately and felt acknowleged. So I decided to book for a facial. I wasn't sure whether this was the place I wanted to redeem my gift certificates. However, that day Iknew there is no other spa I will ever visit other than PURE SALON & SPA! My facial began more relaxing then what I anticipated and I walked out of the room feeling completely rejuvenated! Thank YouPURE SALON & SPA!

I have been going to various salons and day spas in San Diego for over 20 years. I used to go to this Salon when it was called Diamantes and was owned by Sandra. It was the top place in San Diego. She sold it and in less than three years the new owners took this salon down to an average place. Well she just got it back and you can immiediatly tell. Fresh flowers everywhere, the staff professional with a big smile on their face. Prices are very reasonable and the energy is amazingly great.Sandra grids almost all the clients and gose all out to make sure your experience is great. She sat and talked with me over 10 minutes.I highly recommend the new PURE Salon to everyone. It is a must and im sure you will become a regular to see sandras big warm smile.
