Opened in 2003, Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa is one of the newest and largest gaming hotels in the northeastern United States. Situated in Atlantic City's marina district, away from the famous boardwalk, the 29-acre hotel associates itself with the glamour, glitz, and top-shelf entertainment of Las Vegas rather than the no-frills atmosphere for which Atlantic City is known. A 2006 renovation added hundreds more slot machines and a brand-new poker room as well as three five-star eateries (including one whose executive chef is the world-renowned Wolfgang Puck). The 54,000-square-foot (5,016 square meters) Spa Toccare offers ultra-luxurious European spa treatments that may temporarily entice even the most ardent high-rollers away from the tables.
The entire complex was constructed with an eye toward drawing a young, sophisticated crowd. The hotel's ultra-modern design (glass sculptures enliven the casino and public areas) and abundant entertainment options cater to those whose expectations exceed an unadorned evening at the tables. The Up All Night Package pampers the party-prone by including accommodations, dinner buffet, comedy club admission, and beverages at one of two on-property bars. Other packages include spa services for couples or individuals. Active guests can maintain their exercise regimens at the Pump Room, where exercise machines come equipped with flat-screen televisions.
SpaFinder gift certificates are only accepted for Spa services at Borgata.
