I have been going to Robert James Salon for over 2 years and I highly recommend this professional salon. I am often asked where I get my hair done since I have been going to this establishment. I get the Coppola Keratin treatment done regularly by Annisa, a very knowledgeable hair dresser who knows her clients well. Annisia also cuts and colors my hair and it always looks fabulous! The family that owns this business is always pleasant and the atmosphere is calm and relaxing. I will never go anywhere else again!

I have been going to Robert James for years. This is the 1st time I went for a massage. It was the excellent.
This was my 1st 90 minute massage, the longer the better, I recommend it. Very relaxing, great music, massage oils smelled great too. I have been to some of the best spas on the East End but my massage today with CINDY topped them all !!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful salon. I have had my hair done, Keratin Straightening and more. All were great.

i get my hair done at Robert James all the time, i have been going there for years. I love the atmosphere and the staff is very professional and friendly. They are very welcoming and kind, not to mension they do amazing hair. I plan on going there for a long time. I would and have recomended to many of my friends and family to go there, and they love it too. It is one of the greatest salons in Riverhead.

I live in Riverhead and visited this establishment a few Saturdays ago for the 1st time, and I planned to get my hair done, and possibly a facial. The place is decorated well, however, the professionalism of the entire staff was very much lacking. Being I'm black I was told right away that the only cosmetician (Perry) who services black hair wasn't in that day, and everyone else was busy. If the owner has traveled extensively she would be aware that black hair is being done in ALL SALONS now. So, I left feeling very unwelcome and drove to Bayshore where the Dominican sisters got it going on! Courteous! Very Professional in manner and service! Maybe this salon will eventually catch up to the 21st century. Money is the same all over. I feel sorry for this place. You will never grow to your full potential and I'm going to make sure all my friends are aware of the abience in this place. IT SUCKS!! Too bad the attitudes don't match the decor.

My sister-in-law and I went here for a little pampering. The spa is a wonderful find in Riverhead, full service day spa, and pleasant and knowledgable staff.

The owner claims to be on top of all the latest in hair care, traveling extensively and is a rep for one of the product lines she uses in the salon...perhaps twenty years ago she was at the top of her game...highlights are always done with an 1/8 of an inch undone so that you have to go back for another highlight in a month.... Most of the staff are loud, it's not a tranquil experience by any means. The woman that is the esthetician is only out for what she can sell....obviously she's on commission and not interested in what the client needs or wants...she tried to sell me a product that someone had opened and used or touched already....arguing that it was new...not worth the money.
