I took my daughter and sisters to @ease spa for facial/massages, celebrating my daughters 16th birthday. We arrived early and had plenty of time to change into our robes, our appontments were scheduled for 4:30pm. It was my daughter's first time getting a facial and she truly enjoyed it. My sisters enjoyed their massages as well and felt so relaxed once they were done. I on the other hand can't say the same. I was left in the waiting area for over 30 minutes. Not once was I approached from any staff member. They forgot about me! My daughter/sisters were already done w/their sessions and that's when I approached the front desk to ask what was the holdup. She tells me that the therapist who was going to take care of my massage was in a car accident and therefore the male therapist was going to take care of me. Um...no he's NOT. I specifically requested for a female therapist and shouldn't you ask your customer if it's OK for a male to take her place instead of assuming it would be ok? Customer should be given the option and nothing was ever discussed with me. A female therapist felt bad and offered to take care of me but it was already too late. I wasn't going to have the ladies sit around to wait for me and we had other plans. I was so upset, got dressed and proceeded to pay for the ladies services. I was given a $10.00 discount and $10.00 off coupons for future visits. I will not be going back. I'm giving at ease 3 stars on behalf of the ladies experiences. They lack in customer service

Came to the spa for a massage purchased through Groupon. The massuse was very young and inexperienced. I advised not to massage my arms or legs as I had some bruising and he did anyway even after he asked about touching my bruises and I said I would prefer if he didn't. You also have to get changed in a bathroom and not a locker room.

I have been to this spa 3 or 4 times and never had a bad experience. Alex gives great facials. Love the atmosphere. Only con in sauna is pretty small. They offer great deals if you sign up for their mailing list online.

This place sucked! I went there 15 mins before my appointment like i was told, i sat by the over bearing fire for over 30 minutes. i paid for an hour massage and only got 45 minutes. During the massage the therapist burnt me with the stones and she didn't know what she was doing. i usually go to The Botanical in Park Ridge and only went here because i had a g.c but next time i will just throw it away and not waste my time with this unprofessional "spa". I would NEVER recommend this place to a friend.

There is noting like sitting by the fire soaking your feet in a bath relaxing for a while then you go to get your massage, and the massage is oh my God,you'll get everything in it Aromatherapy oils, Hot stone, any pressure with no extra charge. The overall atmosphere in this spa is sooo relaxing. They really know how to set the mood with the candles and soft music. The overall size is rather small and deceiving but there is plenty of room to have your services comfortably. Services are always punctual and with the upmost professionalism. Been here several times and definitely would return. Fabulous periodic triple packages (body scrub, facial and massage $150 ).

I love @Ease because of "The Special" it is a treat every time I get it done. No place else do you get so much for a reasonable price. The 3 services are: Massage 1 hour[did I say it was your choice for hot stones or not], Facial[1 hour] and Scrub [30 min]. You can get the treatments in your chosen order[I like scrub, facial and then massage. Oh the Price, $160 last time I went. You can't beat it. But what makes @ Ease so great is that from the moment you get there until the moment you leave you can escape to some Hidden Space where your mind and body can just relax. I grew up in Hillsdale, and did not find out about this space cause it was literally hiding in plain sight. We are lucky to have several spa in our area, but I keep going back to @Ease for the Value/Quality ratio.

I've come here twice for couples massages. Both times were great. Relaxing waiting room, great therapists. Can't ask for much more. They will adjust to your needs if you let them know. Very accommodating. I will continue going back to this spa.

This is a hidden gem in the middle of Hillsdale. You enter this small store front and then you go into the back. It is so beautifully decorated, peaceful and tranquel. I think they have a great selection of services and I was very happy with my facial. It was reasonably priced compared to local spas. I will definately be going back!!

They messed up my appointment not once, but twice! And barely cared at all or offer any compensation. Then, I had to wait almost 30 min. for my massage because they said the last people didn't come on time for their appointment. How is this my fault? Finally I am in the room and got the least relaxing massage ever. I saw the clock when I left the room and they cheated out of 5 minutes. When I mentioned all this while I checked out the receptionist just gave me a blank stare and asked what I wanted her to do for me? Needless to say, I will not be back. It is a very beautiful but tiny spa, but the staff are NOT professional at all.

I had a 12 oclock spa facial appointment with At-Ease and arrived at 11:50 because I am always looking to enjoy the full allotted time I am paying for. I was greeted by the receptionist who led me to their lovely waiting room, she then informed me that the previous client was running over in time and that the wait wouldn't be more than 10 minutes. The receptionist told me I was able to use their sauna while I waited. As I opened the door to their sauna I realized just how small it was. Small enough to only comfortable fit one person as I learned how tight a squeeze it was for two. I talked to a women in the sauna for awhile, when I spotted a watch on her wrist, I asked her for the time, which was then 12:20 I exited the sauna surprised that it had already been 20 minutes into my alloted time, I found the receptionist who told me again that the previous client was just leaving the room and the esthetician was going to prep the room for me and it should be ready shortly. I ended up waiting another 20 minutes and did not really get on to the table till 12:45 The facial itself was nice, I had Jen who had magical hands. HOWEVER! I found it quite difficult to get over the awful smell of cigarettes on her breath. For a long time spa goer, I believe it is easiest way to ruin a facial. Jen applied a hydrating mask, and warming booties and left them on for a few minutes, she then came back only to take both off and say you're done. I immediately looked at the clock to see it was only 1:25, I could not believe it had only been 40 minutes! I had even thought and hoped slightly that they would give me a little extra something for making me wait 45 minutes. I walked out and found the receptionist and told her of my problems which seemed to accomplish nothing. I asked for the manager who had left for the day. I am still waiting to hear from the manager and hope for some sort of resolution to this situation. The spa itself is nice, and they do make a good use of their small space however it is quite clear that they need to do a lot of tweaking on their part.

If you really need to escape from reality and be treated like a princess for the day... visit @ease... I travel quit a bit to get to the spa because I received a gift from a friend who said I had to try it... and I haven't stopped going since! The atmosphere is relaxing and calm from the minute you walk in until the minute you leave (or don't want to leave!)... I would highly recommend @ease and especially Jen B. for massages and Jen H. for a facial. In these days of high stress... go to @ease!!!

It took me a while to write this review, for i was moving...but finally came across some time. At-ease spa is a very nice spa. Its so peaceful and relaxing! i love sitting by the fireplace they have there. The staff is super friendly and the services were amazing. I got a massage, a wrap, and a facial. The only complaint I have is about the owner. She was so rude and unprofessional! As i was standing at the counter to pay, she was scolding her receptionist right in front of me. how uncomfortable! And then she yelled at me for losing my gift card and and said she couldnt look up my info for it! I recommend this spa, just avoid the owner if thats possible...what a witch! The workers that i interacted with were jen, michelle, annmarie, & natania....absolute dolls! ask for them!

This spa is THE BEST KEPT SECRET IN BERGEN COUNTY. I have tired almost every spa in the bergen county area, and as a devoted spa go-er to nyc... i fell in love with the at-ease spa. i started with a body treatment, and my love of chocolate was renewed. They wrapped me in chocolate and left my skin feeling so good, and the facial was perfect.. they actually cleaned my whole face! I never wanted it to end. I had a male therapist for my massage, which i was very skeptical about... but it was the best massage i ever had!

At-ease spa was the best spa I've been to. The decor was amazing and as soon as I stepped in I felt my stresses melting away. The staff was extremy friendly and their expertiese impressed me. I went with my boyfirend... I dragged him into it and got a couples massage which was amazing. We were soooo relaxed by the end of our visit. I told him he knows where to send me to relieve my STESS! I highly recommend this spa....

ive been to a zillion spas, and @EASE takes the cake. from the moment you walk in the door you are treated like royalty.... a hand and foot scrub while you wait??? yes please! wow.... the therapists were great - i felt comfortable and pampered. their prices are so affordable, i could have a treatment once a week! what an amazing staff, an amazing massage, and an amazing experience.

Best massage in NJ!!! I go to Hillsdale on business and I look forward to it like you wouldn't believe. They offer this combo massage (I'm pretty sure it's the Swedish and Shiatsu....ask them for the Combo, they'll know) which is out of this word. I feel like I'm walking on air for days later. My first time there was so incredibly relaxing. I've been to MANY spas and a lot of times they make your first visit extra special so that you'll keep coming back. I did go back and it just as good as the first time. And so I went again. And again it was as good, if not better, than the first time! So I've been going every month for over a year now! I LOVE AT EASE SPA!! The staff members are friendly and so profession and will to explain all of your options to you in detail. The'll make sure you are completely comfortable with everything that's going on (AT EASE!). I especially recommend the facials and the massages at this place. There's a huge selection and the quality is simply out of this world.
