Beth Weaver is the most thorough and knowledgable massage therapist I have ever been to! She has an obvious knowledge of musculature and how systems interface causing certain recurring issues. She is able to release the tension in even the most knotted muscles and bring relief, as well as offer tips on exercises to help the underlying problem. She is respectful and professional. I had more positive results from her massage than from my visit to a professional physical therapist! I highly recommend her!

Myself and three girlfriends spent the weekend in Indy and visited Mango Bay Salon. At the time one of us was pregnant and really deserved to be pampered. She was disappointed in her treatment, a body scrub, in that no attention was paid to her belly, which needed the scrub the most. Another girlfriend decided to receive a haircut which didn't turn out to be the best idea. The atmosphere is nice, the waiting area could be bigger, the food provided was good. All in all, it was ok...we would not make the 2 hour trip to Indy again just for this spa.

service was good but the facility wasnt as tropical as the name. i did enjoy myself i guess i got hooked on thinking i would be entering a tropical oasis of a spa. Don't get me wrong the atmosphere was cool just not what i expected....i may go back again in the future if im around in that area

I recently visited Mango Bay Spa and to my enjoyment had a lovely experience. I walked in and was greeted warmly by the receptionist. She welcomed me as it was my first time being there and asked me to fill out some information for the therapists. She also served me a delicious smoothie that I drank while waiting to get started. The spa is very decorative. It is themed as a "Vacation/Beachy getaway". Very bright and cheery yet calming and relaxing. There is steel drum music playing softly in the waiting area with a selection of reading material to enjoy. Not to mention, the intoxicating fresh scent that parades throughout the spa during the length of your stay! I was then taken to the changing room where I had a locker to put my clothing and belongings into. (This also locks so items are secure) I was given a very comfy soft robe and a pair of brand new flip flops (that I chose). You get to keep these! I was directed to the room and briefed by the massage therapist and told he'd return when I was ready. Very comfortable tables and sheets. The massage was amazing! I had Tom May. Who I will definately be going back to see! He really does an amazing job. I felt like I was standing two feet taller when I walked out of there!!

I had a wonderful facial and massage....What was not the best was the people's personalities. The front desk lady was not welcoming at all. Then when the person came to get me for my facial she never introduced herself ,and too bad because she did a great job and would like to use her again because her skills were great. When the put me in the changing room they unlocked 1 door with 1 robe in it when she came to get me she commented that I had put on the wrong robe (there was only 1 to choose from ) I apologized and she said "never mind we will work with it".....So over all the actual service I got was wonderful the cleaning facial and 60 min massage but the personalities of the facial lady and the front desk lady have MUCH to be desired (for the record my massage man was nice)

I have been to this spa multiple times and overall very happy about their services. Recently I had a facial with a new girl and was a bit disappointed. She obviously was still learning. So when you book, be sure to know who is going to be. I do feel I still get the value out of it because the pricing is very good compared to what's in downtown.

Myself and 4 girlfriends visited and had a great experience. We too, were so impressed with the friendliness of the staff! I have been to other spas and did not feel welcome, but not here! They were very professional and the atmosphere couldn't have been more relaxing and tropical! We LOVED it!

The inside of the spa is wonderful, however I found the location to be a bit odd. I got a massage from one of the girls and thought that overall it was great, except for the fact that she seemed to like to chat, a lot, which can be nice if you're getting your feet, nails or hair done but for a massage I prefer to be in silence and relax. The pricing is also a really great value.

I recently planned by best friends bachelorette party at Mango Bay. I live in another state so I was setting everything up via email and phone conversations. We were promised so much and received so little. We payed extra for their party package. It was to include food, smoothies (which by the way were just sugary juice and little bits of ice), an "add on" and a photograph with everyone in a blue robe and slippers in a private party area. When we showed up, the food wasn't ready, the space they had us in fit three people max so we had to hangout in the waiting area, and there was no offering of robes, slippers or a photograph. They had butchered all of the start times so the Bride could not visit with all the people that came as much as she would have liked to. Furthermore, they got us out of the spa 45 minutes late which meant that we were late to everything else planned for the evening. When it finally came time for my massage, the masseuses hands were ice cold, the lotion was cold, she kept talking the entire time about her boyfriend, her kids and her house. So needless to say it was less than relaxing, She then moved down to my feet to give me a foot massage and then instantly started rubbing my face! First of all, gross! Second of all, how unsanitary is that?! Where did this woman get her training and certification?? Well, that's assuming they are all certified I suppose. If you are planning any type of party or even a day of relaxation, do yourself a HUGE favor and find a different spa!

We have had so many great parties here I am sorry that this clients experience was not up to par. We have revisited how we plan our parties since this time. We wish that this unhappy client would have told us of there problem so we could have compensated . All of our massage therapist are certified and I have never heard of this problem before and that therapist is no longer here. If we do not know what we do wrong we cannot correct our mistakes so thank you for this information and I hope others who have had great parties here will continue to spread the good news.

I recently set up a day for my mother and I to have a hot stone massage and pedicure done. We both have never had a hot stone massage or pedicure before this. We were both extremely overwhelmed by the staff and treatments. I would personally recommend Liz to do any massage. I have had 3 different deep tissue massages before from male massage therpasit and they couldn't even compare to what Liz was able to do with her magic hands and hot stones. Thank you so much Liz and I will definitely return to Mango Bay Day Spa. You ladies are Super Fantastic.

The tech giving the facial insulted my daughter, and then skipped one of the package treatments. When the spa manager (also the owner!) was notified, she refused to compensate for the poor service. If the tech had made a racial remark she would have been fired on the spot I am sure. Since she just spent the entire facial time lecturing my daughter on her weight, it appears to be ok. When will it cease to be o.k. to torture those among us who are less than perfect?! Against my better judgment, my daughter paid for the entire treatment (even the serve she did not receive!) and TIPPED!!! so that the techs who provided me with the good service would not be penalized. A single tech that needs to be reprimanded? Certainly, but also a spa owner who failed to provide appropriate customer service. Want to spend $250 dollars to be insulted? This is the place!

let me just say that there was definitely a miscommunication and there may be two perceptions of this event and it was dealt with in the appropriate manner after all sides were given a chance to explain their positions.

Wow what a great spa !!!! Visited this spa for an afternoon of much needed pampering with a couple of friends and had a wonderful time. Beautiful decor, friendly staff and great services. Would highly recommend this spa to others and will definately go back again. A great first spa experience for me.

I signed up for their 3 hour tour package which is a facial, massage and pedicure. The facial was first and it was the best one I ever had! My skin is so dry from the winter and I can't believe how much better my skin is even 3 days after the facial! The massage therapist worked diligently with you as to what areas you wanted them to concentrate on. I fell asleep on the table.........it was that relaxing! The pedicure is still holding onto my toe nails great (days later!) even though I work out and swim. Mango Bay was a great experience, reasonably priced and superior customer service! I can't wait to go back again and try other treatments!

Mango Bay Spa is an incredible place. It is a great asset to Indianapolis. The spa is beautiful and serene. I had a great massage, one of the best I've had. My mom had a wonderful facial. We can't wait to try out the other treatments. You can't go wrong here, the staff was very nice and the services were great. You definitely will come out relaxed and rejuvinated. We will definitely be back and we recommend it to everyone.

The staff at Mango Bay is so friendly. We called the day we wanted to go and even though they had a lot of other appointments already, they made time for us and treated us like we were the only customers there!! We received pedicures, manicures, massages and facials and loved them all!! Not to mention the wonderful complimentary smoothies we received!! I would recommend this cute spa to anyone who wants a relaxing day out.
