Facilities & Amenities

Facilities & Amenities

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental is situated close to (in many cases just steps from) Hong Kong's internationally known business and leisure destinations. The Landmark complex, of which the hotel is a part, encompasses more than 100 upscale fashion, jewelry, and lifestyle boutiques, among them the first Harvey Nichols store outside of the United Kingdom, Louis Vuitton, Giorgio Armani, Fendi, Dior, and Celine.

Just a few minutes' walk from the hotel, the historic Star Ferry travels between Kowloon and Hong Kong Island in open-plan boats allowing for panoramic views of the night time neon skyline. Once on the island, those new to Hong Kong often visit Victoria Peak, which is accessible by tram and provides magnificent 360-degree views.

Hong Kong Park covers eight hectares of grassy landscape incorporating a bird sanctuary, a children's playground, and a sports center, all only a ten-minute walk from the hotel. A serene garden with colonnades provides ideal surroundings for tai chi devotees to practice their art.

Rooms & Dining

Rooms & Dining

The Landmark Mandarin Oriental offers 113 rooms and suites with an average size of 540 square feet (50 square meters). The extra-large L900 Landmark Suites are 900 square feet (84 square meters) in size. Rooms have such advanced, forward-looking amenities as large round bathtubs, widescreen plasma televisions, and wireless internet access.

Three restaurants suit the hotel's overall urban-chic aesthetic. Amber serves modern French cuisine in an environment dominated by shades of tan and brown as well as a copper-tube sculpture that is suspended from the ceiling. The dinner menu at Amber may include Duck Foie Gras, Line Caught Amadai, and Mieral Bresse Pigeon. The MO Bar serves a breakfast buffet in addition to light organic choices (e.g. Wagyu Kobe beef burger) during the afternoon and evening. The "O" symbol (a red neon wall-sized example of which adorns the bar) signifies communal experience in the Chinese culture and provided the establishment with its title.
