    Studio Cie is a cozy, neighborhood day spa in Lakewood, California, that strives to offer more, "behind the red door." As guests enter the spa, they may notice the makeup studio, where services such as custom-blending makeup, special occasion makeup applications, and makeup lessons are performed. Studio Cie has a Zen-like atmosphere enhanced by water fountains and soft music. The spa's five themed treatment rooms each offer something special including massage, facial treatments, sea salt mineral scrubs and body wraps, facial and body waxing, eyelash extensions, Softap permanent makeup, and more. Clients may also unwind in the spa's Cedrus Infrared sauna. Lockers, robes and spa slippers are also available for clients. Products used and recommended by Studio Cie include Jan Marini Skin Research, Repechage, and Dermalogica.

I started coming here about 6 years ago when my fiance gave me a Spa Finder gift Certificate. I found Studio Cie on the spa finder website. Sarah Heth is the absolute best therapist out there. I reccomend her to everyone. She "beats me up" when needed and I love it ;). The staff is GREAT and very friendly...

I went to Studio Cie because it was close to my ex boyfriends house. I was in need of a Brazilian wax and a facial. They accommodated me late, which was nice. I've been waxing for over 3 years now, and the wax I recieved here was by far the worst and most painful experience I have ever heard of. I forget the name of my lady, but she preferred to use hard wax. Ok, thats fine. By the near end of my wax, I had to ask her to stop. My lady-area was BRIGHT red/bleeding, and was so sore from her waxing that I had to have a cold compress. I was bruised and miserable for days after. She felt bad, and kept apologizing, but - it was traumatizing. She gave me a facial after, which was decent. No complaints. But seriously, I needed a COLD COMPRESS for my lady-parts the waxing was so terrible.

Hello Amy, we are mystified at this review! We have a computer spa program that records data for all clients, treatments received, date of treatments, therapist name, room treatment name, we have no record of any recent visits by any Amy M. Also our one therapist who does Brazilian waxing has numerous 5 star reviews on our various social media sites, she is a highly sought after therapist for this type of waxing. She waxes in very small segments, so if there had been a reaction the treatment would have been stopped immediately. Hard wax does not adhere to the skin, only to the hair, that's why it is the preferred wax for this area, so there would be no lifting of the skin. Based on our records and the history of this therapist we think you may have the wrong spa.

Studio Cie is my go-to local spa for excellent services. Studio Cie is the perfect getaway from the stress of the real world for an hour or two. After a massage or a facial, you will come away refreshed and relaxed. My favorite therapist without a doubt is Sarah Heth. Her massages are great. She'll find exactly where you are hurting and work out your pain. So far, I've had the Stress Reduction, Intensive Therapy, and Wellness massage with Sarah and I loved every minute of each. Great prices (especially the monthly specials), friendly service, and an all around wonderful spa environment.

I love this spa because I get such personal treatment there. From the happy greeting I receive when I walk in the door from Ali, the receptionist. She is always so helpful and friendly. I love my facials with Nina-her treatments are so soothing and relaxing. I can really see the difference in my face! My massages with Sarah are so therapeutic for me because my body is one big knot! My other favorite thing is that every several months, this spa offers a night full of mini-services for free. I appreciate them giving back to their clients. I love to bring friends and family and get them hooked!

I was due for a GOOD massage and I found my place and my girl! Jessica B. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS PLACE. Because it's reasonable in prices and considering how the economy is, it seems that Studio Cie understands and provides good prices. Second, the location is close to my house, but besides that it's hidden in a shopping center; you would think it was made only for the ones who are lost or need to make a U turn. It's perfect, it seems like a secret, but nice to know it's there. And finally, my massage therapist is absolutely WONDERFUL. I believe that everyone releases energy from their own body and the energy that Jessica has is absolutely calm and relaxing. She was professional and it's very important to me that she has GOOD energy in her. Thanks Jessica, I will see you soon!

I tried Studio Cie for the first time, last week. I've been hunting for a good esthetician and read that Nina does a thorough job with Brazilian waxing. Not only is she thorough but she's also gentle. I had a bad experience with the use of hard wax so I had requested the strip wax which Nina talked me out of. She asked if she could try the hard wax on a couple of spots and if I didn't like it, then she would use the strip wax. I had such a totally different experience with her use of the hard wax...her technique makes all the difference. She's my new best friend! Thanks Nina...from your 10/15 newbie!

I heard about Studio Cie from a lady at Curves. I logged on and saw their incredible specials, and decided to try it out. I took my Mom and Aunt there, and we were amazed at the incredible services we received. Sarah's massages are the most incredible that I have ever experienced. Her attention to detail and addressing exactly what you ask for makes her someone that we always request when we go there. Nina's facials leave you looking like a million bucks and leave you so relaxed and feeling good about yourself. These two individuals alone are the reason my Mom and I keep going back. Studio Cie's whole experience is worth saving up for, and their specials make it enticing to come back as often as possible.

From the outside, the spa looks like any ordinary business. It's once youre inside experiencing everything from the receptionist to the massage therapists that really makes this place special. My wife and I see Toni (our massage therapist) at least twice a month...this woman is a genious!!!! But we have to give credit to everyone, because they are all professionals and great at what they do!

This place looks like nothing special from the parking lot, but as soon as you step in the door, things change. I initially went to a Halloween open house to check the place out, and it was not really a spa atmosphere at that time, but I could tell the staff was very friendly, knowledgable, and very willing to work with an individual's needs. Even the mini-treatments at the open house had a very strong impact on my wellbeing, and I booked a massage and facial right away. The massage from Toni was heavenly--best I've ever had, and I have a herniated disk in my lower back, which laying on the table for a massage normally hurts tremendously. But Toni worked everything out perfectly without hurting my lower back one bit. The facial was very peaceful and relaxing, though it wasn't as personalized as I've gotten used to at my usual spa. However, based on how eager to please everyone there is, I bet over time the facials will be just as personalized as the other spa. Another great thing about the spa is that they carry chemical-conscious products that I haven't seen anywhere else like Zoya fingernail polish. And their hours are great for people with regular M-F 8-5 (or even 9-5:30) jobs, plus they have GREAT specials!! I was very committed to another spa closer to my house, but the quality and price here, plus the great people, will definitely keep me coming back!

After vacationing for 2 weeks, my hubby & I were burnt out. We needed a massage, so we found Studio Cie and booked one. I decided to get a facial. My first time going to a place like this, his second. Overall he ENJOYed the massage & my facial was great. Pricilla was very informative. The staff were friendly, the place was small but clean & simple. In some ways I think thats better also we didn't feel rushed in anyway. Would love to go back.

I have been visiting this day spa for 3 months now and everytime I leave I feel refreshed and rejuvenated. My first time I had the back to back treatment which I highly recommend if you have the time. I've been back twice for massage therapy and everytime the service was wonderful. The staff is great! Genuine and sicerely care about thier clients. I definately consider myself a faithful client!

so i never write reviews but i enjoyed my visit so much i had to say something. i got the facial and massage for $99. i'm not much of a facial person but i was able to relax because she told me exactly what she was going to do so i didn't spend all my time thinking, "what's next?" I visited this spa earlier this year when I had UNBEARABLE pain in my lower back. I knew that if I didn't get worked on, something bad was going to happen to my back so I splurged (or so I thought) on a 2 hr massage for myself. Sadly, the therapist seemed to not really know what she was doing or looking for. In fact, when I politely asked her for more pressure on 3 occasions, she told me I didn't need it. (??)Needless to say I was confused, irritated, and thus gave up after my 3rd attempt at asking for more pressure because I could feel myself feeling more stressed out. The next day, believe it or not, and chalk it up to "coincidence", I threw my back out so bad that I had chills all over my body. This extreme pain that I endured the next day was confirmation for me that I definitely did NOT get the relief I needed from this place the night before. I honestly wish I had a better experience here, especially because they are close to my home, they accept SpaFinder GCs and they gave me a Studio Cie certificate to use for my next visit. I don't know now where I placed that certificate, but I have to be honest in saying that I did look at it on several occasions and contemplated another visit to this spa. Sadly, I guess I was *that* disappointed that up to now, at least 4 months later...I still can't get myself to book another service here. Sigh.

Tomorrow will be my second visit to this spa. I was leery on my first visit for the body massage because I have only had one other (at a very expensive spa in Las Vegas) and did not find it at all pleasurable. I was glad I gave it another shot because I loved it at Studio Cie! The facial was also very good and informative experience and the recommendations given to me regarding my skin types lasted well after my spa day was over. I will definitely go back! And recommend it to my girlfriends. You cant beat the price of the back to back special!

Studio Cie is beautiful and peaceful. Soft music, and a water fountain set the mood for your treatment. They offer makeup services including custom blend make-up to match your personal skin tone, facials, body treatments, waxing, permanent makeup and massage. Waxing was great (if any could be!) massage was really relaxing and I'm a new person after my facial. Love this place. They are on Carson St. across from the Long Beach Towne Center. Easy to get to.
