About Sensations Skin & Day Spa
The relaxing atmosphere at Sensations Skin & Day Spa is highlighted by candles and flowers in the spa's reception area and cobalt blue sconces lining the walls. Honey-colored hard wood covers the floors and the spa's treatment rooms are clean, elegant spaces with mirrors, candles, and soft music in the background. This spa is fine for relaxation but not worth the money spent on packages because it is very tiny,there is a loud barber shop next door with bumping music and they give you paper flip flop's to walk in. If you have problem's with sun spot's or acne this isn't somewhere you want to be treated.The owner will talk you into buying several pumpkin,glycolic or hydra glysol peel's that do not help with those problems.She wont do microdermabrasion,chemical peel's or anything aggresive because she is very affraid of getting sued! If you go to have more then two treatment's don't expect to have the same person work on you because she has a very high turn over as far as employee's are concerned.Please do not be talked into treatment's that do not work.Go to a med spa where the Esthetician's work under a doctor.The owner of this establishment has an esthetic liscense that she went to school for 6 month's to get but she has never worked with people's skin.

I got a 50/50 in Jan ‘11. Bottom line: you get what you pay for. The staff was courteous and very nice, but a few ‘rules’ were broken during treatments. Usually the esthetician will keep both hands on you, and move hands symmetrically. When hands are placed on skin or removed, it is done gently and gradually. Here, hands were placed abruptly on and off during the massage, and hands were not always in contact with my skin. Not all moves were symmetric, and I found this distracting.
The massage was gentle but the masseuse would have been as gentle or firm as I wished (I asked for a gentle massage).
I had trouble convincing the facial esthetician that my skin was considered dry and needed moisturizing (I don’t live in a desert). I requested an aggressive extraction, but the extraction performed, in my opinion, was appropriate for a woman in her 20s with few enlarged pores or blackheads. It was too gentle for me.
Neither esthetician explained products in order to sell them to me. Both were very nice.
Price is a bargain compared to a hotel spa. I was also able to get an appointment on short notice, after trying to get reservations at several hotel spas, which were booked.

One of the reviews made it seem like the spa was very far from the strip. It only takes 15 minutes in a car! AMAZING SERVICE, AMAZING MASSAGE, AMAZING PRICES. I got a massage and pumpkin peel my boyfriend also got an hour long massage and a body scrub, I also bought a cleanser, altogether our bill was 230, thats a phenominal price, and its worth every cent, all the staff know what their doing, and are very pleasent, the massages were great and relaxing after a crazy weekend in vegas. This is the spot to go to, Trish was very nice and amber is a great person for your massage. I will deffinitly go back on my next visit to vegas. This place is worth your money and time, I have recieved many massages and I have to say for a massage like that I would be willing to pay way more then 50 dollars. AND AGAIN THE SPA IS ONLY A 15 MINUTE DRIVE FROM THE STRIP, but you have to keep in mind if your driving in primie time rush hour ofcourse it will take you longer. So don't cut you self short this is the place to go for a massage and that pumpkin peel is amazing my skin looks and feels great just after one treatment!

My husband was looking for a place to get a good massage and not pay outrageous Strip Spa prices. I suggested Spafinders.com and we found Sensations. He travels to Vegas for business and was familiar with the Summerlin area, so we knew how far away it was from the strip. The spa was in a strip mall but inside they have done a nice job to make it feel like you are in an exotic location. It is on the small side but very clean. We both had the August special, $50 for a 50 minute Swedish massage. We enjoyed the massages and the atmosphere. I also liked that they did not try to upsell anything or sell us any products. That could be annoying when you just want to relax. Kudos to Trish, Chris, and Terry. We will be back.

The front desk reception clerk was great. The ambiance and massage was just average. I looked at all the reviews and that was how I found this location. I was a bit disappointed after reading the reviews and would suggest Nirvana in Las Vegas if your looking for a small and qaint day spa. The people and therapists are high end and I have ALWAYS gone away feeling pampered and relaxed. I frequent spas and take note of the all the details of the experience.

I can't say enough about this place. Every treatment I've had has been outstanding and given me the results I wanted and then some! First of all the waxing is top-notch. They were quick & painless. The only thing you can say is that the spa is not huge, but I think that's a god thing. It's immaculate and the estheticians are very friendly and experienced.
I also had a 50/50 skin treatment and a pumpkin peel. Both of which were superb and had my face smooth, glowing and blemish-free for months. It's been 3 months since I've been there so I'm making my appointment again and just thought I'd let everyone know that this place will deliver!

I highly recommend the Head to Toe package. The massage was great and it was nice to have special attention on the feet and back. The staff was very friendly and although the spa is very small, they offer many options. I will be visiting again and recommend this place to anyone.

While small in size, everyone was very welcoming & the service was great! My niece & I both had hot stone swedish massages which were fabulous. Heated tables, hot towels, nice music. Chrissy worked some serious knots out of my back while making me almost fall asleep! Afterward, I had a brow & lip wax and the wax used didn't hurt like waxes I've had before - a white & black hard wax? Meticulously and patiently done... not rushed at all. I will go back to try a facial sometime, too.

My mother-in-law and I spent the evening at this spa and thought it was absolutely wonderful! The staff is extremely professional and kind. I would recommend this spa to anyone. Great prices and great service. We are looking forward to returning for another "girl's night out."

I am very impressed and I haven't even been there yet. I am going to Vegas in May for my birthday and wanted to have some spa services. After seeing the outrageous prices for spas on the strip, I decided to look off the strip. I emailed Trish when I saw this place and asked about services. I received an email for their February specials and found exactly what I wanted for my visit. I emailed her asking if I could book now and get that special. She gave me a personal call and was very professional and nice. She set everything up for my visit and will allow me to put down a deposit to hold this great deal. So far, this kind of "go out of your way" customer service has impressed me greatly. I am even more excited to go here.

My husband & I wanted to get pampered without spending a huge fortune. Trisha and I emailed several times to work out the details of our visit. We had some medical issues to deal with and she was very helpful. My husband had a massage, facial and a back facial. I had a massage, body scrub and a hydrafacial. We go to Vegas several times a year and are looking forward to a return visit. The spa is peaceful, relaxing and well worth going off the strip for. The employees were professional and very helpful.

Trish and her staff were as nice as could be, I do not have any beef with them. I had a very nice facial from Vanessa - fun, kind and well done.
BUT UNFORTUNATELY, the many reviews seem to make it seem like this spa is a little 'jaunt' from the Strip, when in fact it is a 25 minute ride to and from, and I spent $90.00 on cab fares. YIKES! I had hoped to save exhorbitant Strip resort prices, but instead it went to the cabbies. And, I had to wait an entire hour for my cab to pick me up; it was too far off the Strip to get someone out there quickly apparently.

My friend and I visited this spa today as we were looking for some much needed relaxation and bodywork on our business trip. As I am not a fan or supporter of big, expensive, corporate spas, I was looking for a reasonably priced, smaller, locally owned business to support. We were so lucky to find this spa. Trish, the owner and Chris, one of the therapist spent quite a bit of time explaining services, packages and products to us. They were not rushed or annoyed with my many questions and were also knowledgeable about what they were selling... something I don't often find with front desk personal. Chris was my massage therapist and Vanessa was my esthetician, both superb. As I am a massage therapist myself, I tend to be a bit picky and question more than other patrons may. I found Chris's candid and honest answers and all interaction with her refreshing and soothing. Vanessa was capable and knowledgeable in her facial and very sweet in general. I left feeling more relaxed than I have felt in a long time. I also felt that the experience I had left me with a great education on how a small spa should run, and knowledge I hope to apply to my own little massage office back home. Having a large, walk in shower to use was such a plus. I recommend always getting package, or at least a scalp treatment ad on.

On July 13, 2009, a couple of friends along with myself went to this relaxing day spa. Trish and her staff was on time and very professional. Elizabeth did my massage and she was awesome. Me and my two friends received the skin renewal package and was on clound line after we left. The next time I visit Las Vegas, I will definitely go back to this spa.

My girlfriend had me go in for a quick Neck & Shoulders massage because my back has been aching for months from working on a computer 10+ hrs a day. WOW did i need that!! I really was skeptical about how much it would help but it's been a week and still no more pain.
They do a lot of treatments like waxing, scrubs, facials and microderms which i thought was impressive but no laser treatments.
Nothing bad to say about the spa or experience there. It's clean, warm, relaxing and the staff was overly friendly. I've only been to a handful of spas in my life so I can't compare it to many, but Sensations was really great. I'll be back!

It was an excellent spa getaway with the convenience of being in a shopping mall just minutes from the strip. It is definitely worth the extra effort to get there, and it is so extremely easy to get to. The service is amazing! Once you step inside into your private room, you forget the world outside and are exported to a spa paradise.
I would say that Yvette gave me the best massage I have ever had. She completely catered to my needs and the pressure and intensity was just right. I was so thoroughly relaxed and rejuvenated and at the end of my message.
Christina used some wonderful aromatic scrubs and masks with some tools and techniques that definitely generated the best results. My skin was glowing afterwards.
My sister had the Miracle Hands Signature Massage, and she could not stop raving about it and Farrah. She could not imagine much better pampering. It was her first massage, and I am sure she has been spoiled for all others since she was so extremely comfortable with Farrah and left completely relaxed and refreshed.
There is such a variety in the types of service offered as well as the wonderful promotions provided to entice you to go to Miracle Hands Spa, but after you have gone once, you will not need any additional enticement, other than knowing that this place pampers you. I cannot wait until I can make a trip out to Las Vegas, again, to make my next visit to Miracle Hands Spa.

I went there for a facial treatment and massage. Brandy did the facial and she was the best esthetician I've ever had (I've tried many other places). She was knowledgeable and very friendly, and the results were fantastic.
The massage was also great; she listened to my requests and adjusted to my body type. I left there feeling ten years younger and totally rejuvenated.
This is a little place hidden in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you. I've had better treatment there than at the largest, marble-bricked fancy places in Las Vegas.

It is inexpensive in relation to other spas, the service is excellent. The attitude of everyone in the spa is professional and friendly but not overbearing. It is a place to go home to, to relax. It does not have the, oh so trendy, feel of some of the other places but that is a plus in my book. I get the feeling I am being taken care of and not being milked. I also appreciate the therapeutic aspect of the massages. I go to relieve muscle pain and they do that well. The packages are nice too if you just want to lie somewhere for an hour or two while someone else worries about the state of your body.
