A majority of Maharishi Ayurveda Health Center Lancaster's 15 guest rooms are located on the second and third floor of the mansion, where decorative elements include marble fireplaces and handcrafted architectural accents. A grand spiral staircase leads from the main floor to the two upper floors. Rooms feature private bathrooms and full-, queen-, or king-size beds. The most spacious accommodations encompass sitting areas containing plush sofas and other furnishings, as well as tall ceilings and abundant natural light.

Meals are served either buffet-style in the dining room, an elegant venue with wood paneling, lofty ceilings with ornate molding, bronze wall sconces, and warm gold and white color palettes. The Center's flavorful organic, vegetarian cuisine is specially prepared with an emphasis on fresh ingredients that support the principles of Ayurvedic cooking. All dishes complement the vegan diet, and vegetarian and other specific diets can be accommodated with advance notice.

Guests are encouraged to book in-residence stays of at least five days for optimal results; many choose to stay for up to three weeks to enjoy maximum benefits. The Center limits its number of guests to about 15 in order to ensure personalized attention from the experienced staff. Specially trained Ayurvedic technicians and a health educator work with the vaidya to guide guests through their customized wellness program, which include Ayurveda health spa services, wellness talks, yoga and Ayurvedic cooking classes, and evening lectures. During downtime, guests are welcome to relax on the outdoor terrace or explore the landscaped grounds, hiking or taking in the picturesque seasonal changes of the New England setting - spring blossoms, fall foliage, and verdant summer gardens.

Participants can choose from the program options offered by the Center, which are further customized during their first Ayurvedic consultation. In addition to the Standard Maharishi Rejuvenation Program (five-14 days) and the Enhanced Program (seven-21 days), guests can also select the Veda Intensive Program (seven-21 days), which incorporates Vedic sound and vibration therapies formulated to activate the body's natural healing mechanisms. Other offerings include the Transcendental Meditation Program, which aids in stress management and weight loss.

Maharishi Ayurveda stresses the importance of maintaining a daily routine in tune with natural cycles. Guests are encouraged to have an early bedtime (before 10 p.m.) and a natural, comfortable wakeup. This routine is designed to support deep, restful sleep as well as increased energy and mental clarity during the day. During private consultations with staff and group activities, participants learn how to apply Ayurvedic principles to their daily lives once they leave the Center.

Before or after their stay, guests may want to visit the town of Lancaster and its neighboring cities, which offer museums, golf, and apple orchards. The Wachusett Mountain Ski area is about 20 minutes away, and the Center is located one hour from Boston and Providence and two hours from Cape Cod.
