Rooms & Dining

Each of the Peninsula Bangkok's 370 rooms and suites features river and city views. A luxurious Asian aesthetic prevails, integrating elements such as pale-green wood furnishings and fabrics that faithfully recreate traditional Thai silks. A control panel gives guests bedside control of the room's light levels and temperature at the touch of a button, and high-speed Internet access is complimentary. Marble bathrooms contain hands-free telephones, a mist-resistant television and an oversized soaking tub.

The hotel's four restaurants showcase a wide range of tastes from far and near. Mei Jiang, specializing in fine Cantonese cuisine, features interiors evocative of a traditional Chinese teak box. The River Cafe and Terrace serves all-day dining in an indoor or alfresco setting enhanced by sweeping river views. Located on the riverbank, Thiptara offers authentic Thai sala (teak wood house) and tropical garden surroundings to match its menu of local delicacies. The Lobby is a popular gathering spot in the morning and afternoon for breakfast, light fare and traditional tea, while drinks and light bites can be enjoyed poolside or at the River Bar through evening.
