I am in LOVE with this salon and I'm in love with Angela's perfection. Her sweetness does not hurt either. She is a precious gem! She knows what she is doing. As a woman who has undergone cancer treatment for thyroid issues and fallen into the hands of bad stylists and good stylists using bad products, I have finally found my sanctuary.
I do have to warn you. If you request Angela (she must be the best, A very well educated violinist AND a Sassoon graduate) she will most be more expensive than what is on the menu so to avoid shock, make sure to ask before your service. She is warm and friendly and will not hesitate to accommodate your concerns. But I want to make this clear- whatever she does is priceless. Especially when your husband comes home from work and cannot stop complimenting your hair.
As far as parking is concerned. It's not as bad as everyone says it is! If you know the village, you just have to know where to park! There is plenty free covered parking across the street in the garage if you do not know how to parallel park and the lot on the corner across the street is perfectly fine. If you have a worry, just pop into the cafe in the center and ask them if they tow. I have never had a problem.

Even though I live near Rice Village I haven't gone to Myth in a while. Thanks to a friend's urging I decided to give the salon/spa another chance and it was the best impulsive move I ever made in a long time! The place has absolutely undergone an extreme makeover!!! It smells great and it got orchids and flowers everywhere, and the fresh paints in every room - the paintings too - you name it the new gal owner is just so sweet and knowledgeable and she's got decoration taste!!! What impressed me the most though is cleanliness. I've been to expensive spa with not-so-clean rooms and left disappointed and feeling ripped off. Check out the new Myth salon/day spa ... I am just so pleased with the facials that I booked an appointment for hair color after verifying that they use Goldwell product. I really hope the new Myth will do well because it's hard to find a decent place for hair and skincare even in the Rice Village.

I fell in love with the place when I walked in. Very trendy atmosphere, yet very welcoming and warm. They have free wireless internet here which is GREAT since I bring my laptop everywhere. Plasma TV and screen on the walls so that I could watch and listen to music while getting my hair done. I love the fact that they have everything here - hair cut/color, manicure & pedicure, facial & body wrap, massage therapy, laser hair removal, BOTOX, photo rejuvenation, semi-permanent eyelash extensions (I'm basically listing what they have on their brochure). Staffs are super friendly!! They focus on my need and made me feel like a queen. I would definitely recomend this to my friends and family!!
