I had some SpaFinder certificates to use and thought I would try Beach Massage. What a gem to find in a strip mall. Quite unexpected. Lovely decor, serene and tasteful and incredibly reasonable rates for the South Bay. April was a wonderful masseuse - found the aches and pains and worked out the stress. And they ensure you are not oiled up when you leave. A great overall experience especially for the price.

The receptionist is rude. On the phone they tell you one thing and when you get there it's something else. Communication sucks!! I would never visit again. The service sucks also.

Response fromBeach Massage and Day Spa

Hi, I'm sorry to hear this about your experience at our spa. I wondered if you could elaborate on what happened? Obviously, we don't want people to have this kind of impression and I think we can fix it if you'd like to give us another chance. Please let me know =-) Thanks!

Long layover at LAX? It is 1.5 mi away. Request deep tissue massage by Koji. Clean elegant and fabulously relaxing, with a fire place and great treatment options at a reasonable price. Don't let the strip mall locale deter you!

I had $100 in spa finder gift certificates for about a year now.. I never really though about putting them to use. I woke up one morning with a aching back and shoulders and found this spa online. I have driven buy it numerous times, and didn't think it was anything special.Boy was I wrong!I checked in and was escorted to the beautiful serene locker room. The locker room provided lots of amenities. After I changed into my robe, I relaxed in front of the fire place until Eugene came to get me for my massage.Eugene gave me a deep tissue massage with hot stone treatment. He knew exactly where my pain was, and he educated me about why I was having pain (and how to treat it at home).I have had many massages, but Eugen has been the best so far! I will be going back for sure.

Don't let the curb appeal turn you off--behind the nondescript door in an unappealing strip mall lies a well hidden secret garden. Once I passed that door, the environment amazed me. Modern, clean, relaxing, with great amenities. And the massage was one of the best I've had.If all you want is a facial, this may ot be the place--but I highly recommend for massage and bodywork.

Me and a girlfriend went to this spa and I had a vichy shower with the rain bar and it was the most relaxing and wonderful experience I've had in a long time. My girlfriend had the beach smooth massage and she stated it was wonderful. The scented candles, soft music and quiet surroundings provides attention to your every need. The ambience was very pleasing. Visit, you won't be disappointed.

Ok, I was feeling a little stressed. I was recovering from a cold and was feeling cranky and achey. A ha, a message would probably make me feel a little better.I was a teeny bit skeptical of a spa in El Segundo...not exactly glamorville central. Beach Massage and Day Spa was pretty, clean, soothing and warm. Immediately I was comfortable. I was greeted kindly by the receptionist and thoughtfully by the messeuse. A fireplace in the waiting area was a nice touch. Only my 2nd trip to a spa. I'd go again. I'd go again if only to buy the lotion I used after showring. I woke up the next morning feeling all soft and thoroughly moiturized. So yeah, Beach Massage and Day Spa...a great place.

I happen to stumble on this place during my lunch hour. It is such a hidden place. But wow are you impressed when you walk in. I thought it was going to be just a couple of rooms. When I walked in I was transported to a very Zen place. I wanted to do something special for my birthday. It was really short notice and after talking to Judy at the front desk she helped me arrange everything from food to flowers. Next thing I know my girlfriends and I were celebrating without a care in the world. The whole staff was wonderful and very knowledgeable.. Very personable service. They diffently make you feel a part of something special. They have facials, massages and body treatments. If you are in the area I recommend checking this place out!!!

Lets say "I FOUND MY SPOT!" I've travelled the world and visited many spas. I would say by far one of the best experiences. The place is clean, the front staff is very professional and the spa is very elegant yet cozy. They have this body scrub treatment (vichy shower) where they place you on a special bed and water falls on you from every directions "What a cool concept"I have to say the massage was amazing and I would definitely go back.TWO THUMBS UP!
