Allen Edwards Woodland Hills is a 2,500-square-foot spa facility whose interior design features a combination of water features and plush fabrics. Down comforters are used in facial rooms for coziness and comfort. In addition to six treatment rooms, the spa encompasses a dressing room with a sauna as well as a relaxation/garden room. The AE Signature Facial incorporates custom-blended deep cleansing, exfoliation, steam therapy, extractions, and moisturizing treatment. I came here for what I thought was going to be a relaxing facial.
Instead, what I got was the noise from all of the blow dryers and talking of stylists from the salon.
The walls are so paper thin you can hear everything, and it was so distracting that I just could not enjoy my service.
The facial itself was ok, nothing to brag about and when combined with the noise problem this is one place I will NOT be coming back to.

The location is easy to get to, and the experience is satisfactory, but nothing mind-blowing. The prices are moderate; with that said, my hair is straight and very forgiving, so I can pribably get a cut of the same quality at Supercuts, for under $20. Figure out what you need or want, check out the prices at other establishments, and then make your decision.

I have come to Allen Edwards quite a few times for a variety of services including; hair cuts, blowouts, bikini wax, massage, facial...you name it I have probably done it there.
I wish I could give it 3.5 stars cause its better than average but I wouldn't give it 4. Prices are moderate..not a steal but wont break the bank. I feel that the hair stylists are mediocre. My haircuts there have never been lifechanging, but they are fine...never offended me.
The spa on the other hand, is better and has some great people who work there. Carla (Karla?) is amazing and gives great bikini wax and facials. The problem is I can go to Raya and get both for half the price. What can I say? Id rather drive further and get a better deal.
Anyways, pretty good..nothing extravagant..I still go back from time to time when im in a pinch.

I didn't want to write this but I am so upset with my haircut that I thought I should inform consumers that you should get what you paid for.
I used to drive to beverly hills vidal sassoon to get my haircut but this time I decided to go to A.E. and not brave the drive and traffic from the valley to beverly hills.
I am extremely disappointed with the haircut and partial highlight I received from A.E. today. I decided to see Allen, the owner, himself and pay the hefty $130 for the haircut and $80 for the partial highlight because I was tired of seeing senior or junior hairstylist and not get the haircut that I wanted. It's my birthday so I decided to splurge and I thought it should be worth it. After all, I'm having my hair done by Allen himself, the owner of the salon. I even came prepared with the picture of the hairstyle that I want. Simple... above the shoulder length with layers so my hair can have body. I even stressed out the layers and with shorter and blending bangs. WRONG...WRONG...WRONG...
For $210 I got a straight above the shoulder cut... one length... no style at all. He blew dry & flat ironed ... the haircut was 'a la supercuts'. This is something I expect from supercuts. Will not go back to the salon.

It's a bit tucked away, but the atmosphere inside is wonderful. The staff and estheticians are so helpful and friendly. They use Epicuren as well as another paraben free product line that I believe is their own. I've been several times over the last five years. While I don't get facials regularly, they are always the place I return to.

I was at this location almost 10 years ago, and I had the most amazing experience. Even though this spa is hidden in a little center in Woodland HIlls, the experience is definitely worth it.

I got a facial (that included shoulder, neck, foot and hand massage) with added eye treatment. I felt amazing the rest of the day and even was able to attend a party that evening, my skin was glowing. I can't wait to go back again.
