I highly recommend the Body Bank, I am a 42 year old male, very active athletically running and lifting regularly. First off, the hardest thing to find are massage therapists with strong hands, confidence and a true sence of feeling for what your muscles are doing. Joanne has that gift and the other therapists she has brought on board have the gift as well. They intuitivly know and feel the trigger points in your body and apply pressure that is just right. They have done an excellent job keeping me going for my sports activities. In no way are the massages sensual, but very professional and if you are looking for a place to help keep you feeling your best then look no further!

My husband wanted to surprise me with a prenatal massage. He searched and found Body Bank on Spa Finder. He called and was told immediately that they had a wonderful prenatal massage and booked it the same day. It was disappointing to find out that the spa had none of the special prenatal materials that I have since learned are important to have to administer a proper prenatal massage. Initially, I was told to lay on my back and then I was awkwardly propped up on two pillows, which was very uncomfortable. The initial experience felt like I was being poked and prodded, which reminded me of a chiropractic session. I have had reflexology massages in the past and was not in the market for one in my pregnant state, which I conveyed to her. After one particular period of pain, I told her that I was not looking for that type of rub and she finally began a normal massage. After the massage I wasn't even offered a glass of water, which in my experience is common post massage practice. I have never left a spa so fast in my life!

For massage therapy no place is better than the Body Bank in Hellertown. Joanne delivers a sublime experience, reading the body as few people can. Under her able care I found a path away from headaches and chronic neck pain. After seeking aid from many specialists I'm literally so relieved to have found the Body Bank. Absolutely the best thing you can do for your body and mind.

What can I say to do justice to the level of relief I recived from my very first visit to the body bank. for years I suffered from chronic back pain and resigned myself to the inevitability that I would have to deal with the pain for the rest of my life, however ,at the urging of a very good friend, I took their advice and received a massage from the owner"Joanne" I could not belive that after just my first visit, I had no pain in my back, I would recommend without hesitation anyone to visit the body bank. Thank you just doesn't do justice to the amount of relief and gratitude I have for being able to live my life pain free again!!!.

Joanne is expert in many forms of massage, incredibly strong, and most importantly, she has the healer's gift of intuitive touch. Rather than specify what kind of massage I want, I just put myself in her hands and let her work with me in whatever way she senses will be best. Her hands can not only ease physical tension and pain, they can release the emotional pain we store in our muscles. I always leave the Body Bank completely relaxed, in a state of physical and emotional well-being. I am so happy to have found Joanne and can't recommend her highly enough.
