    Allanté is a full-service day spa serving Greensburg and the surrounding tri-state area. 3,000 square feet spa with eight treatment rooms surrounded by Italian-style gardens. Guests are greeted by a Spa Concierge before beginning treatments that may include massage, sea wraps and scrubs, facials, makeup application, eyelash extensions, makeovers, waxing, manicures, nail extensions, pedicures, and haircuts and styling. Signature treatments include the Allanté Pedicure, a basic pedicure and the Allanté Spa pedicure which includes callus removal, a seaweed wrap and mask, and leg and foot massage. Special events include Thursday night Spa Evenings for Men, where they can relax with treatments while enjoying complementary drinks and appetizers. Before the wedding throw the bachelor/bachelorette party in the spa gardens or take advantage of the bridal specials including massage, a French manicure, the Allanté Pedicure, a bridal hairstyle, and professional makeup application. The staff speaks both English and Spanish.

When I want to look and feel good, being surrounded by relaxation at Allante' is the first thing that comes to my mind. Rose Marie has officially ended my journey to find the ever elusive 'indefectable' Hair Stylist . My hair is always cut perfectly and unlike many haircuts before, it keeps looking better as it grows in. I will definitely not be going anywhere else!

I have been to so many salons and have always had mediocre results. I have been to them all, expensive and cheap. I recently lost a lot of weight and really just wanted a new haircut. I did some research and found Allante... wow I am so glad that I did. The reviews speak for themselves. Rose really knows what she is doing and it shows. I get so many compliments on my hair! I went back and had it redone and touched up and I loved it even more. :) The Spa is great too. It's beautiful there. My mani and pedi were perfectly done. Highly Recommended!

I recently found Allante a few months ago and had a cut and highlights. I continue to receive compliments on my hair everywhere I go. I have since went back for a mani and pedi - which was great - as well as another followup haircut and highlight. My highlights look so natural and normally stylists would make my hair look so blonde after the second set of highlights... but not Allante. All I can say is... they are simply the best and I'm so grateful i found them!

I went to Allante once. I would not go back again. I did not have an enjoyable experience there. Upon entering, there was no one to greet me. I was willing to let that go though. I was early enough, so it wasn't as if my appointment was being delayed. It took several minutes for someone to greet me. I will verify what others have posted here. Rose Marie DOES have her dogs at the salon. Normally I love dogs, but I did not feel this was appropriate at all. Her male dog attempted to hump my leg while I was sitting in a chair filling out the new customer information sheet! I also felt it was unclean. The dogs did use the floor as a toilet, and the dogs did smell badly. I tried to trudge through it as I wanted my hair to look nice for my husband who was returning home from Iraq, and I did not have time to make an appointment at another salon, but it was not pleasant at all to have to put up with the dogs. Do not go here expecting a relaxing environment, peaceful serenity, or a nice hair salon and spa experience. That is not what you will find here. Rose Marie, the owner, was extremely rude. She was very sarcastic, she had an attitude, and she insulted me. She was no enjoyable to be around at all. She was ripping out my hair during the appointment to the point that my scalp hurt for a whole day afterward. Color was good. It matched perfectly. That was the only plus. The hair cut was awful. My bangs were uneven and the back of my hair was uneven as well. I commented that the back was uneven, and she tried to blame it on me in a huff, rather than simply correcting the issue. She ended up taking more length off than I wanted. I knew the bangs were uneven, but I decided not to comment on it as I was afraid she would botch those too. Overall the hair cut was extremely bad. In the end, I left. They rudely pushed me into making another appointment, which I later canceled. There is no way that I would ever go back to this salon, and there is no way I would ever recommend this salon to anyone else. Being new to an area is hard, so to all newcomers to this area, BEWARE of this salon. They are rude, the dogs run amock, the place is not clean, and the services are extremely poor. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A NICE EXPERIENCE!!

Dear "MelissaP", We have not had a client in over a year with the name Melissa P. As far as cleanliness goes the state inspector is here frequently and we pass with flying colors every time, otherwise our salon would not be open. He actually comments how Rose Marie keeps the salon and spa in meticulous condition and always says its a pleasure to inspect the salon because of how its kept. Rose has been in the industry for 30 years and a clientele that keeps her busy from open to close so obviously she isn't rude or sarcastic. If you were so unhappy with the service you received you should have said something while you were here. This is an obvious attempt to slander our spa and its really very pathetic. I guess you cant please everyone. We welcome every single client with a smile and open arms so please come see for yourself. We are sure that you will find this review as useless as we do.

My first experience with Allante was a great one. Being new to the Greensburg area I, was very wary of a new place. I had received a Spa Finder Gift Certificate and decided to give it a try, even after mixed reviews. Rose, Danielle, & Lauren were all wonderful! My treatments included a detox wrap which was relaxing (albeit odd), followed by a manicure, pedicure, & color. I changed my dark Auburn to a light blonde, with Rose's help. She really listened to what I wanted, yet gave me constructive advice. In the end we went with two shades of blonde highlights and it turned out fantastic. I had read some negative reviews about her dogs, but found them not to be a big deal. Rose offered to put them up if they bothered me, but they mostly just lay around and kept to themselves. I personally am a huge dog person, but even if you are not they shouldn't be a problem. My nails look excellent, Lauren really took her time. Looking forward to my next visit, want to check out Martini Manicure Fridays.

I visited Allante Hair after receiving a gift certificate from my best friend. I was desperate to have my hair colored back to its natural color, have a few subtle highlights added and I really needed a new hair "do." When I left Rose later that afternoon I felt better than I had in years. I had that "feeling" you get when you have on the perfect outfit and you feel 10 pounds thinner...she made me look and feel great. Not only did I love the hair but my boyfriend and MOTHER all loved it. You know something is great when your mother even loves it! I constantly get compliments on how great my hair looks and have even gotten a new nickname with my friends "pretty hair girl." Thanks Rose for an amazing job...you now have a customer for life!

I walked into the salon and found no one to greet me, when the owner walked over she told me she had been waiting for me, when I was 15 min early! Plus, she never even told me her name. She insulted my hair and talked on the phone the entire time she cut it. She told me how bad my roots were and told me it was going to cost 3x what she quoted me on the phone. I left there poor and with a entirely different style then I walked in with, without her asking. After I watched her treat her employees as children and her dogs use the salon floor as a toliet. I know I will never go back. Never again!!

We visited Allante as a girl's day out for four of us before a wedding. It was extremely inviting, we felt at ease from the moment we entered and enjoyed our entire visit. The Spa Pedicure was wonderful and relaxing. The staff was friendly and talkative. We will definitely go back. We were never rushed and everyone made sure we were relaxed.

I recieved a spafinder GC for my birthday and found Allante obviously through the spafinder site. It was near my house so I decided to go celebrate a couple months late. My GC was for $125 so I decided to get a french spa pedi and customized facial. I have been to the spa plenty of times but never had a facial because I have sensitive skin which unfortunately is covered in adult acne. The facial blew me away, one treatment amazed me. My therapist Mandi told me they used a brand called Dermalogica(which I am now in love with) for skin care and that I should recieve extractions and a charcoal mask. My face looked amazing and I've been keeping up with the products at home and I am so surprised that after only a few weeks how much clearer my skin is. I ended up not only leaving with a bagful of products but also a 12 session facial package. I can't wait for next months treatment. My only complaint was the woman who did my pedicure, I forget her name, was nice but I wish she would have tried to talk with me more during my service. I find it more relaxing to chit chat and I felt that she was concentrating too much on the service being done and not enough on the customer.

I thoroughly loved my day of self indulgence at Allante hair Design and Spa ! My husband purchased a gift certificate there after the birth of our son so that I could get some pampering after nine long months of pregnancy.. This was, believe it or not, my first time to a spa and I can assure you it won't be my last. My certificate entitled me to the Ocean Escape package, A full body massage, Manicure, Pedicure and Demalogica Treatment. I enjoyed every moment of my treatments, and love what the products have done for my skin. (I had malasma and acne from the hormonal changes and it has improved dramatically!) I was nervous not knowing what to expect, but was made very much at ease from the moment I walked in. My thanks to Rose Marie and Danniel I will be back"

It felt very fresh and alive there and the people were wonderful. Once inside it is a very comfortable and natural setting. My experience in the spa was total bliss. I have been to many spas in the past and found this one to be the most relaxing to date. From the moment I was greeted and shown to the changing room. The feeling was very calm and time slowed. After changing into the robe and slippers provided in the large change room, I was given a choice of waiting to begin my treatment in the indoor or outdoor waiting areas. I chose to wait outside. Well this in itself was a treat. I was given a choice of water or tea, and then given a cozy blanket to wrap myself in while a warmed foot bath was brought for me. In the footbath were marbles so you could give yourself a mini foot massage Mmmm while either reading the numerous magazines available or taken in the spectacular view of the outdoor garden. The service I had chosen was called the "Aroma Stone Therapy Massage and Aromatic Body Polish ". It was 2hrs of pure bliss. Come on girls you know what I am talking about.I am planning a spa trip with one of my girlfriends for summer 2008 as this was the most wonderful spa experience I have had to date most notably because of the ambiance and how special the staff made the client feel." I have to admit, I have flaws, as we all do, but in the endless pursuit of perfection, we all attempt to be flawless - at least in our complexion. This has been my goal since my first pimple in middle school and more recently, the bevy of freckles on my face, which I attempt to masque as cute (not sun damage). I went to Allante Hair Design & Spa on a friend's recommendation and was thoroughly impressed with the atmosphere and the knowledge of the staff. They were so approachable and gave me a great consultation on how to treat my sun damage and acne scars. I was hooked. I had to do something. First stop - relaxing facial. It was perfect. It actually lasted for over an hour (vs. all those other places that start the clock the second you get in the door) and was the right mix of extractions and a hand and foot massage.. I would definitely recommend Allante Hair Design & Spa to friends. They're nice, pampering and professional. Way better than any spa or doctor I've been to."

My wife brought me a gift certificate from Allante Hair Design and Spa for my birthday I was hesitate on going because I never been to a spa. But I thought I would give it a try When I arrived at the spa and walked in I was greeted and treated like I was the most important client they had! The Staff went out of there way to make sure I was comfortable, relaxed and enjoy my visit. I received a Spa manicure that was great especially the hot wax, they wrapped my hands in. It made them feel wonderful and soft and may have even help a little with my arthritis in the joints Then I received my pedicure (Allante Spa Pedicure) I must say this felt great. It was time for my facial (European Men’s Facial) I never had this done and it was wonderful Rose Marie did my facial she is very knowledgeable when it comes to skin care she talk to me about all the products she was using on me and what would be best for my skin. I even purchased a few dermalogica products to keep me looking good Now I know why the women go to these places, they are wonderful and I would highly recommend the Allante Hair Design and Spa. The Staff is very professional and knowledgeable in all areas. I am looking forward to my next visit I would like to thank them all for a well done job

I have been to many different salons and spas in the Pittsburgh area and I have never had such a great experience as I did at Allante. I am very busy with 3 children all under the age of 5 and I like to take a day just for me (even though I hate to say that :) ). From the time I walked in the doors I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I was greeted right away by a very friendly young woman who offered me coffee, water, or tea and offered to hang up my jacket. They took me on a tour of the facilities, which were beautiful. They have hand painted Italian murals on the walls of the salon that were gorgeous. I started my day with a Dermalogica customized facial and a full body Aromatherapy massage. I have never felt so comfortable and rested, my body felt like Gumby and my day was not over. I went upstairs and had a Gardenia spa pedicure and manicure. The girls who worked on me were so friendly and I had a great conversation with them. They really seemed to care, it was like talking to old friends instead of complete strangers. They even took time to take a look at my children's pictures with me. The only dissappointing part I had through my whole visit is the time whenever I realized it was time for me to go. The staff did not rush me out wish I really appreciated. I hate the feeling some spas give you of being on a conveyor belt. I had one of the best days in awhile at Allante, I for once could truly relax and just enjoy a day where I could breathe. I went to Allante because my husband bought me a gift certificate for my birthday and I will continue to go to Allante because of the amazing time I had there.

I just had the best massage ever... and let me tell you... that is saying something! My massage therapist (Danny) was incredible! I felt like the treatment was customized just for me! My Facial: I went in for my standard monthly facial but got so much more. The staff is so friendly and professional but I still felt at ease while I was there. They discussed in depth the type of products I use now and what my skin care regiman is, and was able to suggest some new things to help keep the glow and supple feeling from my facial What an experience... I chose this spa after being given a spa finder gift certificate for the holidays. I had recently re-located to the area and asked around to see what spa people recommended. This spa was recommended to my by three separate individuals so I chose it. The prices were a little higher than I am use to but it was so worth the money The facility was clean, the staff was wonderful, and my massage was the best I've ever had. I loved it! I plan to go there again soon. Thank you to the Staff at Allante

Allante is a horrible salon. The owner, Rose Marie is incredibly rude. She talks to her staff like they are a bunch of magets. She hires staff that is still in school. What kind of salon is that? He dog goes to the bathroom on the floor. Their website is so misleading. I would never go there.
