Glee is an awesome neighborhood spa. I love the area it's in, and Amanda, the massage therapist I had, was a really good listener. She told me what she'd be doing step by step, so that I would stay comfortable. I'll definitely be back!

last week i decided to finally use my spafinder gift certificate that i got for work to get my winter legs waxed and i decided to go to glee after reading rave reviews. first of all, they were really accommodating with my schedule. alyssa was super quick to respond to my emails, to answer questions, and to give detailed directions to their somewhat hidden location in wallingford. when i got there, alyssa greeted me in the waiting room and took me into the back. the spa is really cozy and relaxing. it felt like it was all there just for me! alyssa was really informative, letting me know what was happening in every part of the process and explaining products that she thought would be helpful for me. i have really sensitive skin so i brought my own moisturizer with me and alyssa was totally cool about it. we had a really lovely convo for the hour and half that hair was being ripped out of me and it helped distract me from the pain. however, she was totally vibing off of me and not asking questions without sensing whether or not i wanted to talk. overall it was a really amazing experience. i left feeling like all my needs were met and i definitely want to go back when i need waxing again. i might even get a facial too!

My girlfriend and I just went to Glee for a massage and facial. I had the massage and Amanda did an absolutely amazing job - not too mechanical and not all fluff. I've had several professional massages over the years, both medical and spa, and never felt such a perfect combination of relaxation and "work" in a massage. My girlfriend thought the facial with Alyssa was really awesome too, so you can't go wrong!

I have to say, I've never been to a small in home spa before. I've always gone to big chain spas or spas at resorts. I was blown away by the service that I received at Glee. I called on a whim one day to see if they could work me in. They had a cancellation and called me back right away to get me scheduled. I had a one our massage and a one hour facial, and both were fantastic. When you walk up to the house you certainly don't expect to find a spa with such a relaxing atmosphere in the basement. I felt like both women really listened to my concerns and went out of the way to accommodate me. I will definitely be going back!

I found Glee Day Spa through Spa Finder (I had a gift certificate) and after reading some reviews about the available spas in Seattle, I decided to go with Glee. I booked the Delightful experience (1 hr facial and 1 hr massage). The spa is in the basement of a residential home, but the girls have remodeled beautifully. My only complaint about the atmosphere is that while receiving my facial I could hear an infant crying.....and not just once, multiple times throughout the hour. I definitely want to give these girls credit for running a home business, but I'm sorry, when I go to a spa I am going to relax, and a crying child does not really make this happen. As far as the services, I thought the facial from Alyssa was great (it was my first one). Great massage for face/neck/shoulders/arms/hands and my skin felt softer after. Next was my full body massage. Amanda used hot stones which was a treat, I just wish she would have used them a few minutes longer. The leg massage was done over the sheets (leg massages in the past have been directly on the skin which I prefer). Scalp massage at the end was just what I wanted. Both Alyssa and Amanda were very friendly and professional. Overall, I thought it was pretty good, but I don't know that I'll return unless I have another Spa Finder certificate.

The aesthetician was early and welcoming. I needed a relaxing and purifying treatment, and everything about the facial was wonderful. Alyssa really has a gentle and warm manner, and when she explained what she was doing, it was in a quiet voice so it didn't jar me. I also didn't feel like she was reprimanding my skin care habits, which I often find with skin care experts! She just gave good tips and recommended some products she likes. The environment was really homey and comfortable. I wish I had gotten several treatments and relaxed in between! Glee is affordable, accessible and gave me a great spa experience.

Amanda, the massage therapist, was so welcoming, and I felt she paid careful attention to my concerns before the massage. The room was peaceful and the massage was just what my sore body and tired mind needed. This was also the first time that I had hot rocks used during a massage, and wowza--absolutely fabulous! I would definitely go again.

I didn't know what to expect from this tiny neighborhood spa, but it was absolutely wonderful. I went for an afternoon massage, which was luxurious, personalized, and very professional. Amanda was accommodating and had obvious enthusiasm for what she does--it was like getting a massage from a good friend! I would absolutely recommend the Glee experience, and plan to go back for a facial as soon as possible.

I would recommend this wonderful to spa to all my friends. The atmosphere was just what I was looking for, personal and relaxing. My massage was great and supporting a locally owned business is just another bonus.

This is only my second spa experience. The first was at a fancy-dancy downtown spa which was nice, but I definitely felt out of place. Glee Spa was comfortable, warm and unpretentious. I have had many massages and can definitely say that the massage I received was excellent. Haven't had lots of facials to compare, but I totally enjoyed the facial I received. I felt totally relaxed after my experience. Thanks.

My experience at Glee was a great one! The small, intimate location made for a very personalized massage! Amanda was very professional and accomodating to my requests. I'll definitely visit again!

Walking into Glee is closing the door of the chaos of life for an hour. Alyssa gives the most wonderful , relaxing facial. She puts a person completely at ease and her bed is so relaxing- you just don't want to leave when your session is over. I also highly recoomend the glycolic peel. Go ahead and pamper yourself!

I found Glee after receiving a SpaFinder gift certificate, and I am glad I did. The atmosphere is cute and warm. The spa is located in a quaint neighborhood and is welcoming and relaxing. I hate going to a spa that feels snobbish and uptight, and Glee is neither. They are professional, warm and friendly and really listen to your needs. Amanda really focused on my tough spots and brought my kinked muscles some much needed relief. The hot stones are fantastic! I look forward to going again soon. I would highly recommend Glee to any friend or family member. You should go!

I loved the relaxed and unpretenious atmosphere of the Glee Day Spa. My massage was fantastic. I was so relaxed afterwards I forgot how to get home!

I love the personal feeling of Glee Day Spa. The setting, in a residential neighborhood, is very peaceful and beautiful. I appreciated not being in a huge spa downtown with all the fancy people. The facial was my favorite!

I regularly get massage services, and I consider Glee day spa as one of the best. Excellent atmosphere and surroundings enhance the whole experience, coupled with first class massage!
