The Cortiva Chicago Massage Therapy Center is a 5,400-square-foot facility with wood slat walls, 16 treatment rooms, and a shower for guests. The professional massage therapists offer a variety of massage and botanical body treatments. The spa also offers reduced rate student massages which are a perfect alternative to a professional massage. After massage students complete more than 50 hours of classroom instruction and pass a proficiency exam they are available to offer therapeutic full body massages to the public. Treatments provide solutions for relaxation, overuse injuries, chronic neck and back pain, postural distortions, sports injuries, and the effects of stress.Location

The masseuses are students who are perfecting their techniques. My masseuse was friendly, explained what she was doing, asked what areas I wanted her to concentrate on - just like any other masseuse I've worked with. The room was a perfect smell/temperature. She had a couple of things she could improve on, but I fully expect that from a student.
I was very happy with the massage, the service, ambiance, and price. Next time, I would probably try to go without my heavy work bag, as afterwards, I really didn't feel like lugging the bag back home.
I highly recommend Cortiva - it's an awesome way to help those students get the experience they need to continue to improve their skills!

I visited cortiva not too long ago and I have to say I will definitely return! Everything from the costumer service to the atmosphere was above and beyond what I expected. I decided to go with the student 1 hour massage b/c it was affordable but I had no idea it would be such a great massage. I scheduled another appointment and will be telling all my friends about this place.
