I have been going to this spa for regular massages and is very happy with the service. Ask about the packages, if you pay for a set number of hours in advance you get a good discount.

Coming from China and being here for 2 years now, I missed having good tui na massages and the few Chinese clinics/health shops that I have been to here, I tend to find the TCM doctors are good at acupuncture, but not really good at tui na.
Most times here I will go for a sports massage and sometimes swedish as I like the pleasurable feeling.
As a birthday treat a friend of mine brought me along to Dao Spa and told me that she had found the ideal therapist to give me a massage there.
Upon arriving we were greeted by the manager and shown downstairs where we sat down and drank some Chinese tea.
The surroundings are mostly western with elements of China, but very nice.
A few minutes later I was introduced to Chris, an experienced therapist who was trained in the UK and China and whom lived there for 18 months.
The treatment I had there was called Tui-Swe and was invented by Chris and it is a mixture of tui na and western massage techniques. As I was so eager to experience his tui na, I asked if he could start with that first.
I was very shocked by his skill, it was like being back in China again, and then when he started talking to me in Chinese I was impressed even more, even though he is not fluent.
Whether it be western massage or Chinese tui na, that was the best massage I have ever had in Britain and from now on I will go there at least once a month to treat myself, as I now know a place where I can have great massages, just like at home.
