Spa at Midtown Athletic Club , The

I have been a member for 8yrs and started using the spa about 4 yrs ago. I love it there! Professional, Friendly Staff. They make you feel at home. It is run much better now than 8 yrs ago. I like the changes they have made. I bring my out of town guests there for services all the time.

As a member of the spa's home club, I am upset that I have to avoid the facility. We have tried the service on three different occasions with different practitioners. The first service was waxing which left me with a rash which lasted over seven days. The spa did not address the rash and kept passing me to management which was never present. The second service was a deep tissue massage. Considering that I am small to average size deep tissue contact should not be difficult however it was not reached. The final and most frustrating is prior to my waxing I purchased a gift facial for my client. In summary, she was very unhappy with the experience. The location is excellent and the energy appears to be positive however skills, education, and customer service are missing.
