Not plus size friendly
I went in for a wash, cut & blow dry. While, who I assume is the owner, walked around talking to regulars & friends, I was completely ignored. The woman next to me was offered something to drink & again I was completely ignored. The girl who did my hair was cordial enough but I definitely did not feel welcome at all.

Very Disappointed
I was a faithful patron of Christopher Jon Salon & Day Spa. On my last visit, the massage therapist I had pretty much beat me up. I asked him to ease up on the pressure several times. I also said, "Ouch" several times. I was unable to move for the next three days, I was sooo sore. My husband called complaining and the owner said that me being unable to move was my fault. She claimed that I did not drink enough water...which is ridiculous since that's all I drink (and a lot of it). I spent $100 (with tip) getting beaten up....with no sympathy from the owner. They just lost my business.

great experience!
I just went to this salon to get an elite spa pedicure and it was amazing! They are a very clean spa and the staff I interacted with was very friendly. I had no problems at all.

Mediocre at best
This salon is okay. Not great and not terrible. I found the staff to be nice in a fake sort of way and to be honest, a little too full of themselves. They are part of the service industry and should realize that their clientele can go to any salon they want. They should go above and beyond to make their clients feel comfortable. I feel they will be out of business soon with the prices they charge due to local competition lowering their prices due to a weakened economy- This is the reason I don't go there anymore. I found a great place with a wonderful atmosphere that is much cheaper but to be fair I wont mention there name.

Overrated and unfriendly
Well, I've only tried one girl for my hair and she was really good. However, the girls who work there are a bunch of snobs and have no manners. The receptionists especially; they can't be bothered and are not friendly or welcoming at all. They are always messing up appointments and become rude and arrogant when they make a mistake about it and take no responsibility at all. If it weren't for the girl who really does a good job with my hair, I wouldn't be going there at all. I don't like going to unfriendly or snobbish places.

Though I am so glad you are happy with your stylist, I would have appreciated a personal conversation about your negative experience with my staff. We take pride in our business and never want a client feeling as you do. If there was a incident you should have spoken to management immediately. For the past 31 years we have heard that our salon is so different from others because, it is, so warm and friendly. They tell us how nice it is to see our staff get along so well and how we all work together to provide outstanding customer service. No one has EVER referred to my staff as "a bunch of snobs with no manners" and I must say, I do find that extremely offensive. We certainly like hearing the compliments, but it is most important for us to hear when someone is unhappy so we can improve ourselves further. Please take the time to give us a call and be specific about your concerns in order to create a positive change for all. Thank You, The Management

I have been a client of this salon and spa for some time now and was truly offended by the last review. Before finding this salon I tried many in the area and I do not agree THERE IS NO BETTER. I have always been treated like a lady, always taken on time, have had the best color and cuts and the spa is immaculate. The employees are knowledgeable and professional and always accommodating. I receive waxing service from Maira and she has taken me even when I am running late from work. I have never been turned away. I have received pedicures from Erin and Luann and both ladies are just wonderful. Overpriced?? You get what you pay for. Paying less could send you home with more than you bargained for. Not a very nice way to behave after being a client for so many years. We all make mistakes. It seems they are not being appreciated here. Try this salon an amazing cut and color and try the spa if you want to go to heaven.

Do Not Waste Your Time or Money
I made an appt for my daughter and I to have facials and pedicures together, ya know a nice mother/daughter day. But NOOOOO, once again they messed up our appts. apparently they only had one of us booked. So we made a decision for my daughter to have the facial, being it was her first one and I got a horrible overpriced pedicure. Then, after we paid, my daughter made a waxing appt with Myra for two weeks away. She went to her appt and guess what?....Myra was too busy for her and someone else had to do her eyebrows. Not Cool. This place sucks!!! There are PLENTY of other places to go. So needless to say after going there for over 15 years I will never step foot in that salon again, nor will other friends and family. Take your business to a place that appreciates it.

So Relaxing
These days it's hard to go on vacation. This spa makes you feel like you are at a resort. Beautiful rooms and clean!! Marie for massage and Berni for facials. They were amazing, just so warm, friendly and professional. Being in a robe and slippers in there relaxing room was just great. What a spread of snacks too. I just made an appointment for color and a cut, I will keep you posted.

I frequent the Salon, and can't wait to try the Spa!
This is the most professional Salon around! The staff sticks to the schedule unbelievably well. I loved my former stylist, but would wait hours for a hair cut. At Christopher Jon, they are prompt, courteous, and highly skilled. My color ALWAYS comes out fantastic! Wash, cut and blowout takes 30 minutes consistently! My stylist is Amy, and I HIGHLY recommend her. I recently turned 40, and most of my presents were gift certificates to the Spa. I am extremely excited that my spafinder.com gift certificates are now accepted there, as well. PS The owner, Frank, is a riot. It is very entertaining to listen to his "take" on current events. He tells it like it is. I like him a lot!

A Lovely experience
The waiting area was small and not very spa-like (we had to wait in the manicure area for quite a while and there were only 2 chairs in the room). once entered into the spa it was lovely, clean and relaxing. The quiet room was serene and comfortable. The treatment rooms were typical (which is great) of any spa. I was able to book treatments easily and the staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. There was only one downside in my opinion (other than the waiting area): the available packages were more limited than what I would have liked. The treatments were wonderful, I loved the atmosphere and the staff, and the prices were high, but to be expected.

Only good things
I had a lovely day in Christopher Jon salon. The salon itself is remarkable: it's immaculate, offers a beverage station, has a lovely staff, and it's spacious so you never feel crammed while waiting (though everyone is completely organized and punctual so I didn't wait long.) I was pleased to have a stylist who listens to every detail of my request and then follows through. You will love the service, quality, and atmosphere of the salon. NOTE: They do not accept SpaFinder gift certificates in the salon section, but they do accept them in the spa.
