Pebble Hand and Foot Sanctuary

Don't apply any oils or creams to soothe the skin prior to waxing just dive straight in! My skin feels like it's been ripped to shreds and is red raw...plus left patchy with a non complete job. Never visit this salon for a wax unless you want red raw skin, patchy wax and lack of knowledge.

I've been to this spa a couple of times and would definitely recommend it. It's in a lovely location in the centre of Hitchin so it's perfect to combine with a bit of shopping. The staff are very friendly - I chatted to the owner when I was in there - it seems very well run. I had a full pedicure one time and the Tidy Toes on another visit - both were great and stayed looking perfect for ages. I'm a bit of a hygiene freak when it comes to pedicures but I had no worries here - everything was very clean! The chairs/loungers for the pedicure are super comfortable and there are sofas at the front where you can relax and read gossip mags while you wait for your nails to dry. Lovely.

The title says it all. The treatment started from the moment I walked in the door. You are made to feel special without that over the top feeling. Pebbles is tastfully deocorated and makes the customer feel relaxed and calm. My feet have not felt this good in a long time. I have had varied treatments on my feet over the years but I have to say that at Pebbles they are tops. I had hot booties and a supurb massage on my feet then I got to choose from a vast array of colours to finish off the look.
