Based on the reviews, I had high hopes for this spa. I went in for a Shellac Manicure and Spa Pedicure that were, perhaps, the worst of my entire life. Shellac manicures are not cheap, and I have had many in the past. I am a big fan because my nails are very soft and brittle. Needless to say, my manicurist (whose name starts with a D) didn't bother shaping my nails, cutting my cuticles, or preparing the nail beds in any way, shape or form before administering the poorest looking french manicure I have ever seen. Not only did the white portion look uneven and sloppy, but the shellac ended up staining the skin area underneath every single nail. I spent almost an hour filing and buffing away the white gunk when she was done. The worst part is that my polish has already chipped and cracked after ONE day. This is unbelievable. My last shellac manicure lasted one MONTH. Just when I thought things couldn't get worse, it was time for the pedicure. "D" soaked my feet in a bath of water that had broken jets. Similarly to my nails, she didn't shape my toes, and slopped on a coat of my own polish. I am confident that I could have done a better job in the dark. I spent a lot of time and money on this mani/pedi and regret ever going in! Beware!

This small, independent day spa and salon is tucked into a larger office building and you might not know about it if you aren't looking. But it's definitely worth seeking out! They're well established (20+ years) and almost all their clientele is through word of mouth. The service is friendly and first rate; the staff are all REALLY good at what they do. The atmosphere is casual - never intimidating - and the spa facilities are intimate and welcoming.
Prices are a fraction of what you'd pay elsewhere, but there's no sacrifice on quality. Everyone is up-to-date on the latest services and techniques, and they gladly offer advice on everything having to do with health, fitness and beauty. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
