The spa menu features 13+ styles of bodywork and massage such as the signature Hinoki Four Handed Hot Oil Massage, as well as facials, hand and foot therapy, meditation, and breath work; add-ons include paraffin dips, scalp massage, and Accurhythm. First and foremost it is our goal to create an amazing experience for ALL who enter our doors. Regardless of the package or incentive that brings them in, it is our desire to treat everyone with the same high quality, courtesy and professionalism. Our Spa has been open almost nine years and part of the charm is our turn of the century house that has been renovated to accommodate The Spa. We welcome praise as well as constructive criticism to help us continue to grow. We always play music during services (it is possible that something was wrong that day??) If this disappointment had been brought to our attention immediately, we would have been able to address any issues right away. If services promised were not delivered that is inexcusable and management certainly wants to know about this in order to address it timely. While your gratuity was most likely appreciated by the staff that received it, I do not understand tipping so generously for an experience you were unhappy with and would not recommend to anyone. That misleads the staff into thinking you enjoyed what you received, which is clearly not the case. We stand behind our Spa, services and staff. We also realize we wouldn't be here if it weren't for our wonderful customers. If there is anything that could make up for your disappointment I am certainly open to making it right for you. I appreciate you venturing out and experiencing something new. Due to our steady, loyal repeat clients and our growth, I am convinced that your experience was an isolated one. However, it was, unfortunately, what you experienced and I respect and value your feedback.
