Belle De Jour

I am so glad I didn't read the previous review before going in for my pedicure because I would not have gone to Belle De Jour for my pedicure. (and I would have been cheated from a wonderful experience.) I had a wonderful time with the staff, I was greeted with a warm smile and offered wine or pop. Asked what I wanted to soak my feet in, you pick from eight different soaks (at no extra charge). As far as an over priced nick nac shop, I bought a bottle of O.P.I for $7.00 and a Betty Boop purse for $35. O.P.I by my house is $8.50. My service was done by the owner's daughter and her name was Angel, she was a doll. There chairs are new and are in good shape. So that review would have been misleading, and harmful so my advise is to see for your self and I'm sure you too will find this to be a wonderful, friendly, high spirit, experience.

Was there 8/4/12. Greeted with: "are you here for pedi's?" Neither stylist ever introduced themselves nor confirmed the extent of our pedi services. The place was empty & we were treated like we were interuppting the 2 girls. The "Salon" is in the midst of an overpriced nic-nak shop. When they started applying our polish I had to ask what about the paraffin treatment we scheduled, both girls looked dumbfounded. They actually told us "your appt said Spa but we didnt know what that meant" and "it will take awhile, the paraffin is off". It would take too long so we said forget it. One girl is the Owners daughter & she doesnt know the services she is to provide? The massage chairs are old & junky. My stylist got polish on my sandals, missed parts of my nails & left dry skin around nailbeds & rough base of feet. I was scrubbing & moisturizing my feet an hour later !! Our services should have been $35 EACH (because we did NOT get our requested paraffin treatments) but somehow we were charged $75 total. So the Owners daughter cant do math either? We used $80 in SpaFinder card, said screw it & left. We were nice & smiley, (and tipped way more than we should have) but the girls never even said "thanks" or goodbye ! NEVER AGAIN !!

I walked into this salon because it was near where I live and I wanted to try something new. I just got my hair done from some other place and hated it, as well as my husband. When I walked in I was welcomed by Siri which I found out is one amazing woman. She said she could try fixing my hair and she did. She was really nice and knows how to cut and style hair. The atmosphere to Belle De Jour is like nothing I've ever seen in a salon. I love that it's a boutique and a salon together. I did a lot of browsing and buying that day. I have been back many times already due to my daughter giving my spafinder gift certificates. I've had Siri and Ashley do my hair and I also got a facial (which was amazing) and I'm getting a deep tissue massage today done by Catarina. I am nothing but impressed with this salon. And it's totally worth every cent for whatever you get.

This is a really nice place to get all of the spa services you need. The people are very friendly, and they make you feel like long time clients on your first trip. The prices are great, and the services are professionally done. You'll be happy you tried them!

I was very pleased with the skilled masseuse at Belle De Jour. The atmosphere Catherine has created in the room was relaxing and enjoyable. I felt like a million bucks when I left the place! I told all my friends and relatives about Cathy and the great experience I had there. The prices are very reasonable, which is another big plus, especially in these tough times.

i was home on a visit in lemont and i decided to get my hair done. i called and got an appointment. scared because i have had a bad haircut in indiana so i decied to be brave. i even treated myself to a detoxt for my feet. that experience was wonderful and i felt refreshed and energized after that. well Siri did my hair and the color came out beautiful. she blow dryed it and i looked fantastic. i didnt even have to do my hair to go out that night. it was shinny and vibrant. i will travel another 3 hours to go to that salon. it was well worth the drive. Michele makes you feel at home when she greeted me and set me up in the detoxt foot bath. She was wonderful. They have a full service salon and i am hoping that i will have time to throw in a massage there. I have had a massage from her before and she is wonderful. i am glad she has moved to that salon. Well if i must say there is no better salon in town. You can go to the day spa's in town but you will not feel the cozy feeling you get when you walk in the door. So to any one who wants to know you will be treated wonderful. I cant wait till i go home in may. Belle de Jour here i come. so set me up.

I felt so comfortable that it made my service that much more enjoyable. The best pedicure ever. Enjoyable surroundings with good people.
