I had a brow wax, facial and 90 minute massage. The staff was so professional and accommodating. I have been to other spas before but I never felt as comfortable with them as I did with the Spa at Plaza Cortez. I will definitely be coming back.

I booked an appointment at Plaza Cortez and when I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist informed me the aesthetician had left for the day so I couldn't receive my service.
Despite me having made an appointment just a few hours earlier in the day, they felt it was okay to just leave and not have the courtesy to call me to cancel or reschedule. Most spas will charge customers when they don't show up for a service but when it's the other way around, all the customer gets is a wasted trip.
Plaza Cortez should be embarassed by their lack of customer service.

JennG, Again I appoligize for not getting your phone number and not getting your last name correct when you called for a 5:30 brow wax appointment on Friday. If I had, I could have called you back to tell you the esthetician had to leave for important family reasons.
FYI We do not charge customers for no shows.

I have been to many facials and paid sometimes a lot for them thinking I'll get a better service. Spa Cortez facials are priced so reasonably and their services are great in fact better than some of the more pricey salons that I've been to. On my first visit, I bought a package deal of 6 facials for $300 and received a free eyebrow wax for my first visit as well. I was impressed. Definitely returning. Would recommend Nataylia for facials.

I have been to quite a few spas, but this spa is by far my most favorite. I have been twice already. The first time I had a de-stress facial and it was so incredible! I swear I loved it more than a massage because not only did my face feel so awesome afterward, but I got a mini shoulder, hands and feet massage as well. My second visit was recent and I had the microdermabrasion done. OMG! I loved it! I am going back in a week for my second treatment, but just after one treatment I was so impressed by the results. I am not the kind of girl that needs help with wrinkles, but some acne scars and the next night I went to a wedding and I got so many compliments on how pretty I am. It's had been a while since I had compliments like that since I was younger! Heck, after two kids and nearing 40 I feel so flattered! This is definitely MY spa and I can't wait to take friends for girls day out! One last thing, the staff is so nice and friendly and very good at what they do. They don't try to sell you anything but give you free samples to try at home. I highly recommend Robin and Zara (sp?) who did my microderm.

I have been to a Spa before, but did not have a positive experience at all... so after about 4 years I decided to give it another try, because a friend gave me gift certificate for SpaFinder and I found the reviews for Plaza Cortez most convincing.
I have to say, I am very happy I have given it another try. I just went for a second time today and it was another experience of awesomeness and relaxation.
The first time I went to get a de-stress facial, eyelash tinting and eyebrow waxing. Very good.
This time I got a facial and eyebrow waxing and again I am more than satisfied.
I am getting married tomorrow, and I am sure my skin will look perfect - so that takes away some of the stress for my big day and the treatment itself was relaxation pure!

Also, I bought one of their specials get 3 one hour treatments (massage or facial) for 2! I love deals, so this came in handy :)

My experience started walking into the charming courtyard with it Mederteranian feel. Immedietly letting me know I was in for a treat. The waiting room was very inviting and we received some really delicious green tea. Once we went in my 2 hours of total relaxation started. I received the salt scrub which was AMAZING. My skin felt so good. THen after enjoying a quick rinse I recieved a 1 hr deep tissue massage. (I actually drooled) I liked how they would bring your clothes in a bin from one session to another. They had a shower facility and tea and water whenever you needed it. I also like how I didnt run into anyone as if I was the only person there. I didnt see my sister till we both were done. She had the foot massage and said it was great. I also got an eyebrow wax and they never looked better. The pricing is really reasonable especailly for the quality you get. I got a gift cert for mothers day and cant wait to go back. Im from Dallas and Cortez will now be a regular stop on my visits to Austin.

I purchased spa finder gift certificates from Costco a year ago & booked their Valentine's Day package for myself & boyfriend. It included an hour relaxation massage as well as a facial. We both enjoyed their spa experience. The facial was amazing and the massage was great. I would definitely recommend to a friend and I will be returning!

I found this spa by accident when I wanted to treat my friend to a massage and facial. The service there was absolutely awesome. I returned to treat myself 2 months later and then again with another friend for her birthday (all within a 6mo period). The setting is beautiful and welcoming. The staff are excellent at what they do. I have gone to several spas in town that were pricey but too clinical. I always recommend this location to everyone seeking a wonderful spa experience at a great price.

I have visited this spa approximately once per year, over the last 5 years. I have always found the staff to be friendly, and the atmosphere to be quite relaxing and peaceful. I wish they had pedicures and manicures again, and a nice whirlpool would be nice.
