SpaTaneity is an intimate Richmond, Virginia, spa with soft lighting, music, and aromatherapy meant to provide a stress-free escape for guests. The spa believes that "beauty and good health involve nurturing of the mind and spirit as well as the body." A variety of services are available including massage, body treatments, custom-blended skin treatments, microdermabrasion, peels, makeup consultation and application including services for special occasions, waxing and tinting services, nail services, and ear candling. SpaTaneity hosts parties and special occasions as well as education classes. Gift certificates, customized packages, and discounts for senior citizens are also available. My aunt got me a Spafinder gift card for Christmas so when I came on the website I chose this spa from the list in Richmond and I am sooooooooooooo glad I did!! It was an absolutely WONDERFUL experience!! The woman at the fronk desk was so nice accomodating, answering all my questions and getting me a cup of coffee while I waited. The inside of the spa is so cute and cozy. The massage bed was really comfortable with a really soft blanket!! I had Allison as my massage therapist and she was so nice and friendly! She asked me beforehand what I wanted/expected out of the massage, during the massage she made sure I was comfortable, and afterwards she made sure I was feeling ok and if there was anything else I needed. I definitely plan to go back and I would recommend this to anyone I know!!

This was my first visit to this spa. I did a package deal which included Facial Massage/Swedish Massage/Manicure/Pedicure. The experience was very relaxing and wonderful. Everyone at the spa was so friendly. I loved the facial and massage by Alison (Sp?). She did a great job. Manicure and pedicure were great too, but definately everyone should try the facials/massages at this spa! Thanks for a nice spa day!

This was my first visit to this spa. I had a Manicure/Pedicure deal from Living Social that cut the price from $77 to $32, so this was a definite bonus. The spa is small but very welcoming. I was immediately greeted and gotten a beverage. Olivia, my nail techician, was quite young and seemed new to the trade, but did a very good job on my nails. The leg massage during my spa pedicure was very relaxing.
I would definitely visit SpaTaneity again and will probably try a massage next time. Everyone should visit this spa!
