    Facing Thayer, A Beauty Spa, believes in the power of beauty rituals to restore, relax, and transform. Aloe green covers the walls and vaulted ceilings and natural light add to the spa's airy ambiance. There is also a retail area with more than 25 lines of perfumes, makeup, and bath and body products and a nail loft where manicures and pedicures are performed. The spa's treatment room has a heated bed with a down comforter, orchids, and candles. Services include facials, waxing, eyelash/eyebrow tinting, makeup application, and a variety of men's services. The spa hosts customized events for guests including parties with food, drinks, services, gift bags and music and monthly girl's night out events at the spa. Discounted packages are also available.

I've had the opportunity to experience a number of different spas - even the simple establishments are (1) clean and (2) offer a glass of water.... Facing Thayer had stains on the wall, door, floor and baseboards and the stylist did not even ask if we would like a glass of water. The staff seemed competent albeit abrupt.... with so many spas that get customer service right in RI and surrounding areas, I will not be back to Facing Thayer.

It was my first visit at the Facing Thayer, A Beauty Spa today and I must say the experience was great, they have a variety of options to choose from. The staff and Spa have a very calm and relax feel to it. Everyone from the receptionist to the technician were friendly and nice. I will be returning again and look forward to trying new things now that I found a Spa I am comfortable at.

They were able to squeeze in an appointment on a short notice. The service was excellent, the staff very knowledgeable. Recomended some good products on the way out. Would certainly use their services again.

I just visited Facing Thayer with my daughter who is a student at Brown University. The spa is walking distance from her dorm, and in addition to offering a wide selection of services also has an amazing beauty boutiqe that sells many different lines of perfume, skin care and makeup products. My daughter and I each indulged in a spa package...the facial was amazing - totally relaxing, but theraputic at the same time. the skin care therapist was very knowlegable and took the time to do a thourough skin analysis and discuss our skin care needs and concerns. We also had manicures and pedicures. The service was done perfectly with lots of attention paid to our cuticles, rough patches, a great massage, and perfect polish application. I would highly recommend Facing Thayer. The staff, atmosphere, products and services were all perfect and greatly exceeded my expectations.
