I am so appreciative that the front desk worked with me to find appointment times that would work for my husband and me and our busy schedules. Carol, the massage therapist, even came in an hour early to accomodate us. She did an excellent job! I've recently had surgery and was unable to lay on my stomach and my back was really aching. I immediately felt better and it got even better over the next 24 hours. Her quality of a massage was not what I expected out of a day spa - it's what I expect out of a resort spa. I will definitely be back to see Carol!

I have been going to True Essence Salon for almost a year now and the quality and professionalism is top notch!! Whether it is a haircut and highlights or just to get my eyebrows done, everyone there has always been friendly and helpful. I find True Essence to be a breath of fresh air – no matter what type of service I receive at this Spa. First of all - the front desk staff is warm and friendly each time I come in. They are terrific at finding appointment times that meet my needs – as I travel often for work.
Maytee, Pam, & Sara are expert hair stylists and do a terrific job coloring, cutting, and styling my hair. They also offer great recommendations for new, fun treatments. I recently received the Keratin hair straightening treatment, which has made a BIG difference as to how my hair looks. And it’s a lot easier to style now each morning!
And today – When I walked in I noticed that both Maytee and Pam had thin strands of holiday hair tinsel throughout their hair. I immediately asked to receive this sparkly, yet subdued look for this holiday party season!
As for the Spa area – as soon as I walk into the Spa I feel a sense of calm...with the soft light, the fresh scent, and the soothing music. Peggy does a terrific job with all waxing and facial services.
Anytime I receive a Spa Finder gift card – I go straight to True Essence with it!

I came into the spa on a last minute whim for a massage. Carol had already left for the day and the front desk ladies called to ask if she would come back in. She was there in 10 minutes and was very welcoming. I appreciate beyond words that she would come back in for one appointment! She listened to me and my body for what I needed. During the massage I drifted in and out of awareness. I loved the tiger balm at the end. For them to be so accommodating was fantastic! Thanks to Carol for the wonderful Massage!!

Leslie did a cut, color, style...I am thrilled with my hairstyle and her techniques. VERY professional...you can tell she's been in the business a long time....and has is style "savvy"! Best I've ever had. The facials are great, too!!!

I was not impressed with this Aveda spa. Infact,I chose the spa becauseit uses Aveda products and techbiques. However, products can only take the experience so far. The rooms are very small, the walls thin, and as soon as you step out you are assaulted with bright light and loud noise. The massage wasn't that great either mabe it had something to do with the fact it was my second attempt to get a massage from the spa. Yep, the first time I went for my appointment I had a cold and after I was on the table she refused to performthe service!

Massage can help to release stored toxins into your system making it possible to make a cold get worse if your immune system is already weakend. We do not recommend getting a massage while having a cold for your benefit.

It was not as relaxing as it could have been. You could hear the staff right outside the door chatting pretty loudly. The therapist was great. I don't like the spafinder surcharges that are passed down to the customer. I will not be using spafinder giftcards in the future.
