Situated in Jersey City, New Jersey, the spa has three treatment rooms and offers services including massage, body treatments, facials, and waxing. One of the spa's signature treatments is the Spa H Signature Facial, which incorporates a skin analysis, cleansing, extractions, hand massage, a customized masque as well as a gift of the spa's signature seasonal tea. I consider myself a spa connoisseur. In fact, I enjoy a massage more than anything else on this earth. So please bare in mind that this review is strictly for those who prefer to be massaged rather than just a quick easy rub down.
Yesterday was my second visit to Spa H. I decided to give it a second chance after last times "Spa Week" debacle. Needless to say, I was even more let down this time.
Upon arriving the girl at the front desk (who was friendly I might add) introduced to me to my therapist. It was a male. I had specifically requested a female. She then told me that the woman in question didn't realize she had to work today. That threw me for a loop as that showed me how out of practice with business techniques they are. You do not tell a customer that.
Anyway, I agreed to let this 6'4 male massage me, but told him I preferred not to have my thighs rubbed. Needless to say it was the worst massage of my life.
From the second he put his hands on me I could tell he was NOT a massage therapist. Turns out, I was right. Hours later my friend went in for her appointment and was told her therapist was a physical therapist who cld train her for a triathlon! HUH?!
Customer service is lacking. Do yourself a favor. DONT GO HERE!
