This is my first experience coming to a day spa. The owner, Winnie, consulted with me first to get a feel what I was looking for. She shared with me the goal of the spa experience and asked me for questions. Her office and spa rooms are peacefully decorated. Winnie was meticulous in her work. There was soft music, the table was comfortable with natural fabric and the room was dimly lit. I felt peace and trust. The 75 minutes flew by quickly. I had a microdermabrasion facial and massage. I left feeling like a queen. Here it is 24 hours later and I still feel the same as when I left.

My friend and I booked massages with Winnie based on reviews both here & several other sites. Winnie certainly lived up to all the great reviews. Fabulous massage , the best I've ever had, hands down. What great energy she has.Totally worth it!

Winnie was completely amazing. She let me make an appt on short notice way after her normal closing hours because it was my birthday and went completely all out. I very highly recommend her treatments!

I recently made an account to review spas-and my first order of business to recommend Winnie at Apeautique. I traveled with my husband to Hawaii, and booked a massage with Winnie. I was amazed that I could relax and feel like warm butter afterwards. The location is off the beaten path but well worth the trip!

I've been to two spas on my own but wasn't satisfied. When my daughter got me a spafinder gift certificate i looked it up on line. Checked all the reviews but when i saw Apeautique it caught my eyes. I read all the reviews and that was it. Made my appointment got my massage that i wanted Winnie is NO KA OI. She makes you feel like you've known her for a long, long time. She asked me what kind of massage i wanted, i told her, she did it, but there was one part i didn't tell her, and it was like she read my mind. My shoulders two side. She massaged it by putting pressure with one finger on this one certain spot on the left and right and when it was done the pain was gone. I've had that pain for about almost seven years and now it's gone. I can reach over my shoulders on both sides. I will be back and thats a PROMISE. Winnie has GODS HEALING POWER flowing thru her body, hands, and fingers. PRAISE THE LORD. An Angel sent from Heaven.

I first heard of Winnie from my wife, who was referred by a medical professional for treatment of chronic pain. After observing the unusual improvement in my wife's condition as a result of her visits to Winnie, I had to see Winnie, too. There was time for only one massage treatment in the two days before I left for an overseas work trip that would involve extensive walking and climbing, something that I was incapable of due to a recent injury which left me with pain and stiffness in my ankle and calf. Amazingly, Winnie's ministrations restored my ability to walk without impairment. She eliminated long-standing tightness in my upper back that had prevented me from stretching or twisting freely. This is something that no other massage therapist, chiropractor, or medical professional had been able to accomplish in over ten years. Winnie also found some adhesions or restrictions in my right instep that I had not known existed. I had however, from time to time, experienced a sort of aching tiredness in my right arch that I had associated with extended activity or overexertion. After a single treatment by Winnie, that condition has completely resolved.I have been to massage therapists throughout the country and on several cruise ships, but until I met Winnie, I have never found anyone capable of exerting enough force, with control, to adequately identify and treat my body's conditions. I recommend Winnie without reservation to anyone in need of therapeutic massage.

Having Winnie's therapeutic massage was the best thing I've done for myself in a very long time. Her touch is amazing, and she has the skill and experience to immediately find my sore places and magically transform all of my tension into a relaxed and pain-free condition that I've never experienced anywhere else. Winnie is kind, personable and professional, and she has created an absolutely delicious environment which is not only spotless and well appointed, but also illuminated with perfect low lighting. Her table has ultra-comfortable padding and plush linens, and the calming and healing aroma therapy as well as very pleasant soft, soothing music create a perfect haven for complete relaxation. She uses only high quality oils that never leave my skin feeling oily or greasy - lightly fragrant, and perfectly suited for her massage techniques. Not only do I feel relaxed and calm after her therapy, but I've literally limped due to pain when I've gone in to see her, and walked out of her spa without limping and completely pain-free. I have no intention of seeing anyone but Winnie in the future!

I was not looking for a cookie cutter spa experience and Apeautique did not disappoint. From making the appointment to saying Goodbye was pure pleasure. Winnie is truly a gifted and talented practitioner. She spent a lot of time discussing my concerns and endevoured to created a unique spa experience just for me! I have never had a better massage. The massage room was inviting and super clean. If you are looking for a personalized massage combined with exceptional customer service book immediately at Apeautique.

I was so grateful that, even with Google having misguided me to the spa location, Winnie was super understanding and gracious when I was running a bit behind on my appointment. She took the time to consult with me on my preferences and proclivities, and seamlessly worked them into my treatments (massage, back and sole treatment), as well as educated me on certain points so that I would be completely comfortable on the table. The treatment room was warm, soft, and inviting; through Winnie's skilled hands and the lovely environs, I was able to both be in the moment as well as slip into a lovely meditative state. I HIGHLY recommend apeautique to anyone in the Honolulu area; the customization, personal service, and little touches make this a fantastic relaxation destination.

Earlier this year, I searched SpaFinder for facials... And what I found was an AMAZING experience. Winnie is geniunely concerned about your skin and how to better take care of it. She customizes your experience based on what your expectations and needs are (i.e. extractions, skin allergies, etc.) I joke with Winnie about how I want to look young forever. The facials at Apeautique definitely help my skin and my energy/stress level. I couldn't ask for a better experience!

I went to Apeautique after reading the reviews from SpaFinder to see it for myself. Winnie is nice and personable, making you feel relax and confident that you've chosen the right spa. I had the deep tissue massage and her technique was great. She made me feel sooo relax that I fell asleep (which I never ever do when I get massages from any other commercial spas). She made sure she spent as much time with you as possible and was not rushed. I'll definitely go to her again and try her other services.

My sister-in-law found this spa on spafinder and booked us last-minute facials on Christmas Eve. From the initial phone call to our parting hug, Winnie was absolutely amazing. The experience itself with the warm consultation, wonderful scents, relaxing atmosphere, and attention to customer service, detail, and design could not be topped. In all the many massages and relatively few facials I have enjoyed, I have never been so relaxed. The results were immediately noticeable; my husband, who is usually seemingly non-observant, commented that I was glowing the next morning. What I appreciated most was that the product and make-up advice I asked for (not pushed on me!) was genuine and in tune with being green, simple, and organic. For all the service received, the price was extremely reasonable. Winnie truly has a passion for what she does and combines admirable care and attention for others, the environment, and beauty.

I too chose Apeautique after reading the many complimentary comments here, and I was not disappointed. WInnie is so reassuring and accommodating from the first point of contact over the phone. When you arrive you feel relaxed just walking into the room. Decor is earthy and artistic, Winnie is personable yet professional too. The massage was wonderful, and relaxing - just what my muscles needed. And like the others mentioned, the tea and chocolate brownie are just the little extra touches that leave you with a continued great feeling. It's also nice with her location being near to Ward Centers - you can make it a day and see a movie, grab a bite to eat, and do some shopping at Nordstrom Rack, etc. We'll be back for sure ~ Mahalo!

I chose Apeautique becuase of all the great reviews on Spa Finders. A frind from my hometown sent me a gift certificate and i decided to use it on my birthday(10/31). This was my first professional facial and second professional massage and the experience was awesome!!!. Winnie was so personable and sweet. This was a great way to start my birthday. The brownie and tea at the end are the perfect little extra touch that makes the experience amazing. :-)

I picked this spa based on the reviews and they were all true! I had the best spa experience at Apeautique. It had a warm and welcoming atomosphere, and Winnie made the whole experience very comfortable. I had a 1 hr facial and 1/2 hr massage, and I wish I had a longer massage. This is the first time that I actually see the result from the facial. After a week, my skin is still soft. She did not rush me out of the office and made sure that I was relaxed. This was absolutely the best spa experience from the beginning to the very end and I would recommend to anyone who is looking for a spa in the area. I wish I could visit here every month. I had the best spa experience I've ever had at Apeautique. Service quality is very important to me, and Winnie is truly invested in accomodating all your needs. I was really impressed, and I felt so much more relaxed, refreshed, and rejuvenated when I left. The organic hibiscus tea and chocolate brownie after my massage was a great touch and made me feel really pampered. As selfish as it sounds I wonted to keep this little gem to my self as my own personal hiding space from the rush everyday life, but that won’t be fair…. I am not sure the experience at the Apeautique can be described, or should I say my vocabulary is not affluent enough to do it justice …….. When I step in a Spa I look for three things customer service like the one only Japan can provide, an experience that only old Europe can give you, and my own tranquility and harmony. I have been getting regular facials for years and none of them ever came close to this. All the elements that make up a perfect facial is here in this jewel box boutique. My be Unique treatment was exactly that: customized, relaxing, incredibly thorough and oh so complete. And I LOVE the products!! Apothetique has got to have the chicest selections around. I can't wait to start my own ritual at home. Because anything that I can do to reflect back on this experience, will make the wait that much easier before my next facial. Since moving to hawaii I have been in search of a great massage therapist and I found that person. To start, the atmosphere was zen like. The masseuse not only was professional, but she took the time to ask me my needs and actually listened and guess what... it didn't cut in to my massage time.Hands down this will be the one I continue to see. I left the spa walking on clouds for the rest of the week. Before leaving I bought a sesson for my mom so she could enjoy my same experience when she comes to visit.

I was surprised when apothetique was able to accommodate my last minute appointment request but I was soon able to find that this is a spa that focuses entirely on my needs and not their own. I went in for a 90 minute massage which turned my body into butter. The combination of techniques was a treat as it rounded out every aspect of the massage. What was most surprising is that, unlike all the other spas I've been to, they never tried to sell me anything. (However, I must admit, that the eco/organic-products sell themselves and I picked up a little something.) Lastly, the decor was true to the description and very zen-like and relaxing. apothetique has definitely thought through all that makes a spa experience personalized and makes you feel like an honored guest.
