While the hotel has a subtle Art Deco look and a landmarked Art Deco lobby, the rooftop spa, offering treatments in private suites or outdoor terraces, fosters a Zen-like vibe. The 309 guest rooms are decked out in neutral colors and most have ocean views. Outdoors, the hotel has lantern-studded gardens, secret passageways, alcoves, courtyards and reflection pools. The 8,000-square-foot Spa at Shore Club features Asian-style decor, complemented by teak accents and rich materials, seven treatment rooms and a large outdoor terrace with an expansive ocean view. The spa offers facials, massage services, body treatments and nailcare using Eminence products.

The signature Wild and Zesty Scalp and Body Massage, popular among jet-lagged guests, includes a scalp, neck and shoulder massage with warm oils, followed by a full-body massage. The spa also offers organic facials for sensitive skin, custom fitness facials utilizing botanical-based products, and waxing and eyebrow threading services.

The hotel has two infinity-edge swimming pools, each surrounded by large beds for lounging. Private yoga and personal training sessions can be requested at the 550-square-foot fitness center, or exercise enthusiasts can work out on treadmills and elliptical machines. The Art Deco District and Ocean Drive are good places to go for a stroll, and South Beach offers plenty of nightlife options. Shore Club guests can also explore the area by bike, compliments of the hotel, or, closer to home, browse the hotel’s Violet & Grace and Scoop NYC boutiques.

For nighttime entertainment, the multi-room, tropical garden-encased Skybar, dramatically designed with cobalt blue walls, pergolas and fountains, encompasses the Redroom, a chic, candlelit bar with gold accents; the Rumbar, with a variety of rums to sample; and the Sandbar, serving drinks beachside.

Shore Club has 13,000 square feet of meeting space, comprising boardrooms, galleries, rooftop terraces and outdoor venues for up to 150 guests.

The 309 guest rooms are done in ultramodern style with neutral color schemes and have Mexican sandstone bathrooms with MALIN+GOETZ bath products and glass-enclosed steam showers; some also have a whirlpool. Appointments include flat-screen HDTVs, beds with Egyptian-cotton linens and wireless high-speed Internet access (charges apply). Seven bungalows with private outdoor dining areas are available, as is a three-level Penthouse Suite with its own sauna and rooftop pool with 360-degree views. The hotel's Beach House duplex villa features a separate entrance, pool and outdoor sitting lounge.

Diners interested in contemporary Japanese cuisine with a Latin twist will appreciate having one of famed chef Nobu Matsuhisa's Nobu restaurants in the hotel. Authentic Italian fare, under the direction of Executive Chef Stefano Riccioletti, is served at Terrazza, which has a rustic, inviting atmosphere and an outdoor poolside dining area.
