The Body Shop Massage & Day Spa strives to pamper guests and provide excellent customer service. The 1,260-square-foot Tuscan-style spa has seven treatment rooms and an infrared sauna in a warm atmosphere enhanced by candles and a fireplace.
The Body Shop Massage & Day Spa offers services such as massage, body wraps, facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, injectables, sugar and salt scrubs, eyebrow and eyelash tinting, and waxing. Packages are available including the spa's Rebalance Package, which incorporates a hot stone massage, a customized facial, an herbal body wrap, a body scrub, and a hot towel/cold stone face massage, or clients may create their own. The spa also hosts events such as bridal, birthday, and girl's night out parties.

Just like most of the reviews, I bought a groupon for this place. For months my friend and I tried to make an appt either they wouldn't answer or if we left messages they wouldn't return our call. The one time they did answer I wad told by the owner that she had plenty of available appts for the next day but ones I mentioned "groupon" she completely changed her attitude she was very rude pretended she couldn't hear me or my name I had to repeat myself over and over this is after having a conversation with her with no problems for over 15 mins. Then after her saying she had available appts at the begining of our conversation she gave me excuses about her not being able to take me in. This is a place of business where you are suppose to relax, this experience was nothing but stressful.

Purchased three Living Social vouchers for my two daughters and myself for us to each have a massage, foot dessert and a body scrub. Weren't sure if they could get us all in at once but the owner was very accomodating. Not only did we get in at the same time, all three treatments amazing and they made us feel so welcomed at their facility.
We plan on going back!

No one answers the phone to make an appointmentBy LindaC | February 21, 2012
After purchasing my Microdermabrasion Facial Groupon I called the Body Shop Massage and Day Spa and left a message asking them to call me back to make an appointment. Guess what? No one ever called me back. Several days later, I called again. Finally someone called me back the next day. I made an appointment for Feb. 6. I became sick with a cold and a terrible earache on Feb. 4. On Monday, Feb. 5th I called and had to cancel, but I asked for an appointment on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at 11 a.m. No one ever called me back to confirm my appointment. The morning of the appointment I called from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Again, no one answered my phone calls .Finally at 10:30 a.m. I drove to the Spa!! Guess again? I did not have an appointment. The lady behind the counter ( she was only there because she walked a client to the front) said everyone was busy with clients. Perhaps a receptionist should be hired. I have contacted Groupon and asked for my money back. Don't bother calling The Body Shop Massage and Day spa you probably will not get a call back.

Horrible service. Owner is extremely rude. Purchased groupon and took the day off to get a facial, massage, mani/pedi there with my sister. Owner cancelled my appointment, sent the staff home and blamed ME for it. Was totally uncooperative. I did end up getting a massage and the massage therapist was wonderful, but I would not want to have to go through the experience again. I go somewhere to be pampered while I wait, not argued with and snapped at and ordered around.

Am in LOVE...Fabulous staff, and Awesome Massages and Facials. Am now a member of their monthly massage program and so is my husband. I can't recommend them enough. The place is very relaxed and comfortable and the owner has done a great job decorating! Check them out, you won't be disappointed.

Have visited this spa several times. The staff is very in tune with their clients. Prices are very reasonable and you can't get a better massage therapist than Candy and Jenna does a great job for facials and microderms. Jenna explains the process and has a gentle touch. Candy knows how to work the knots out and is very good at finding the right pressure for each of her clients. Relaxed atmosphere with lots of goodies if you want to shop a little they even have purses and jewelry. I'm now a regular and can't say enough good things about these ladies. The owner Audie tries to make everyone feel at home and make your day a special one.

Got this as a gift for my wife and mother-in-law.
My wife called to make an appointment and got VM.
2 days and no call back.
I sent an email and got a response a day later.
My wife's father had just passed and she wanted to go with her mother on his birthday to deal with the first since his passing.
A few days before the appointment I got an email stating their was a family emergency and they would have to cancel. Unfortunate but, I understood. It then took weeks of sending emails and not getting relies for 2-3 days and then sending another email and getting more dates to choose and then not getting replies again. They must have more business than they can handle. I was offered free massages as part of the packages I purchased and I thought that was nice. However, when they went to their appointment (which they thoroughly enjoyed) they were billed for the addition of the massage. I had sent an email including the email where they said the messages would be free but have been completely ignored.
We found out a friend of ours had also bought a package recently from them and had the same issues trying to make an appointment.
The packages were all purchased from Groupon. We figured they didn't care because they had already been paid.

I originally visited the spa because I had purchased a Groupon coupon for a massage there. The owner Audie did my massage that day. I can honestly say that was by far the BEST massage I have ever gotten. She really listened to the type of pressure I like and I finally left a spa feeling like I got the tension and knots out. That day I was told about a couples massage special that they were going to be having for Valentines day.
So last Saturday my husband and I went in for our massage. Not only did my massage therapist remember me she made a point to do my massage again. Her hands are amazing and I was again very pleased with how well she listened to my needs and wants and how great it felt to get that tension out of my muscles. This was my husbands first massage and his massage therapist made a point of making him very comfortable and he absolutely loved our side by side massage.
Thank you Ladies at the spa! We had a wonderful day and cant wait for my next appointment in March!

I went to the spa in Jan 2011 and I was pleased that they got me and a friend in a timely manner, and the spa gave us a discount because of construction going on. But the massage person (Chrysania) was NOT friendly at all, and she did not use the hot stones properly as some other spa places where I have got the same treatment. After Chrysannia was done I got up and had to place the stones she left in my hand somewhere within the room. She was not professional, the ironic thing is I saw her two days later as a cashier at Walmart, which she as more friendly.

I just had the pleasure of visiting Body Shop Massage yesterday and it was an outstanding experience. I was met with warmth, professionalism, and fun! I didn't expect that I would end up making friends in such a short time ~ the entire staff felt like girlfriends I had known for years. The facial, swedish massage and pedicure services I received were the best I have EVER had. I even tried the "infra-red" sauna and I KNOW I lost at least 50lbs in that thing - lol! The staff spoiled me and I can't thank them enough for making my much needed pampering time a memorable one. See you soon!

I received a gift certificate from clients for spa treatments. Audie the owner gave me a fabulous hot stone massage! It was far better than one off the valleys leading resorts' massage. I left that resort with knots!
Audie is very in tune to my needs and my comfort was her first concern. The good effects of this hot stone massage lasted far longer than any other massage i have had. I still feel pretty good and that is amazing since my stress from work is ongoing!

My maid of honour booked my bachelorette party at The Body Shop. The owner of the shop bent over backwards to make it the most wonderful and memorable experience. She allowed my bridesmaids to decorate for me in one of their rooms. We had champaign, snacks, the whole nine yards. Although we had massages and facials scheduled, the owner just wanted us to relax and enjoy ourselves and gave me a massage when I wanted it. The rest of the time I was chatting with the girls, drinking, laughing, went in the sauna, had my facial and just had a great time. It felt like I had been friends with everyone at the Body Shop for a long time. Both the facial and the hot rock massage were probably the best that I have ever received in my life. No exaggeration. In addition, the prices were phenomenal. I would HIGHLY recommend this location for spa treatment and/or a bachelorette party.

From my first step in this spa, I could feel the positive energy! It's the perfect place to get pampered.The owner is on site, that alone say's a lot. The staff is all friendly and very knowledgeable. I felt very relaxed there, they make you feel at home. I first went for a massage..AHH! It was great! I'm a massage therapist so trust me when I say it was the BEST massage I've ever had! You will be stress free for sure...Then 2 weeks later I went back and got energy work done. I've had this done MANY times. But not quite like this before I left feeling more in-tuned with myself than any other session I had before. I recently went back and received a facial and hot stone massage.. Facial great my faced GLOWED! And the massage was icing on the cake. I received a B-12 shot also. They have a cocktail hour for different shot combo..She's great too. Anything you need to make you feel Revamped! They have it covered..I will be going back for sure. My husband and I recently had a side by side massage here and we both had the best experience!! The service was super, They even called to let us know they were running a few minutes behind so we didn't have to get there and wiat. In fact when we arrived we didn't have to wait at all. The massages were perfect. Audit was fantastic. We have had lots of massages but this was by far one of the very best. We will definitely be going back!! Dr Amanda was super nice and very helpful. This is definitely one of the best massage spa's in the valley..

Until my experience with The Body Shop Massage and Day Spa, I was never a fanatic about massage. I went in for my massage expecting the normal "run of the mill" experience. So wrong.
I never expected to feel so relaxed and pampered in the span of only 1 hour!
My hot stone massage was divine! The skill of the therapist was evident when I couldn't tell when hands ended and rocks would begin. It was almost surreal. I am definitely a repeat customer, and look forward to more perfect days for myself at the Body Shop Massage and Day Spa.

I am so glad I found The Body Shop! My boyfriend surprised me with a couples massage on Valentine's Day and from the moment we walked in our day was made special. Audie and her staff made us feel very comfortable and welcome. As soon as we walked in we were offered a glass of champagne and chocolate covered strawberries that were divine! The atmosphere is warm and relaxed and the prices are very reasonable. I have since gone back to Audie and will not go anywhere else. She is a great masseuse. I look forward to treating myself to this spa on a regular basis. I would recommend anyone to The Body Shop.

What a disappointment. I was looking for a relaxing afternoon with a great massage and I got a hurried service that was nothing close to a deep tissue. My sister got a facial and would barely talk about it because she was so mad she even paid for it! She said her questions were ignored she questioned her license! Robert Mindell, MD, MBA, is the spa's medical director and a board-certified facial plastic surgeon. Using lasers since 1989, Dr. Mindell entered the cosmetic laser business in 2002. Since then, he has been able to use numerous devices and injectables and, hence, is familiar with what certain devices or injectables will truly deliver in terms of patient results and satisfaction. His continuing medical education is solely focused on non-surgical cosmetic procedures: lasers, IPL and injectables.

Cynthia Kerzie, RN, has been a nurse for over 15 years, spending the past 10 years in Trauma ICU at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Injectables have become her passion, and she has trained with Tracy Loesl, RN, and Kathy Roberg, RN, as well as National Laser Institute.
